He had his point of view...I always say the old chassis with new technology engine makes the perfect combo.
In Pakistan we are very fond of jugaar...Engine from one setup and wiring/ecu from another and transmission from some other platform... If you swap in complete setup in a calculated way I don't see a major challenge
One of my friends had PKDM EK civic. He swapped in jdm motor (d15b) leaving PKDM wiring/ecu intact along with original transmission. He was always facing some issue after the swap (hesitation, poor mileage) . He got fed up with it and bought 114k driven halfcut with cvt transmission. Swapped that in and now everything is perfect
Yeah but there's no fun in driving cvt or auto transmission (that's my personal opinion) itni mehnat krni hi hai then why wouldn't one swap sr20det or 4g63t
SR20DET and 4G63T are performance engines...I think discussion was about having a daily driver
1NZ-FE, 4AFE, 5AFE or even 7AFE are not "fun to drive engines"

"Mehnat" tu har kam mein karni parti hai par difference "cost" ka hai. Performance engines are much more expensive

Low end torque.But 7afe mating with 4age with some mods results in handsome Hp.
Low end torque economy k liye hai...Race mein tum 2800 rpm par shift tu nahi karo gay. Plus light chassis and high low end torque may result in wheel spin
