I know the maths, the thing is that 1.8l 132Hp vs 1.3 86hp for the same aerodynamics, it can manage 170 Km/hr then he other should easily go 200+. I did not feel confident enough in pushing the car any further specially with 20k driven euro stars. Hence did not push further.
I have driven 1.8 but as it was not mine, did not drive it very fast or lets say push it to the max. So no comments in this regard. keeping your maths in considreation to achieve 17% more speed 38% more power will be required, the engine of grande is 54% more powerful. So still maths is in favor of 200+ for grande.
The only thing that can go against it might be the transmission as my vehicle is a manual whereas grande is CVT that people are driving.
Still, i will not advise anyone to take these cars to such unsafe speed, and people here are talking about making videos while doing this.
Please let sanity prevail, if there is a track that you can risk it on then it is ok.
