Well like typical cold spell during end December and start January at places like pindi
Try 5-40 then
That must be synthetic then. Not sure if it would be ok to shift from typical mineral 20w50 to synthetic for a 130000 kms run cuore engine that had always been used to mineral oil
No try it. Nothing will happen. In case kuch hua tau revert back.
U can switch.. not an issue. It's better to flush though. U can use liquimoli flush and done.
im using 5w40 for my grande is it a good oil or should i use some other grade next time?
Recommended is 0w-20 and 5w-30 for this engine. Mostly are using 5w-30 here but ideally 0w-20 should be used.
Good oil no issues whatsoever. Recommended is different but 5w40 works well too
flush is a big no in high mileage 100K+ engines
I have even used liquimoli flush in old cars without any issue.
you may have done many experiments but please don't misguide people. flush is otherwise just a placebo. special oci of 1 or 2k km is excellent flush. u cant drain the flush 100 percent out of sump n it will remain part of new engine oil. wastage of money n.time
In very old engines the seals have slime over them and openings are sort of closed and the sludge actually acts as a barrier. There will be a chance of oil reduction because after the flush the openings will open and may create an issue.
