Toyota corolla xli 2012 engine oil suggestion

Aoa to all. I have recently purchased toyota corolla xli 2012. Mileage is 50k. Pls suggest me the best engine oil for my vehicle.

Use total 5w-30 oil.
Other brands like shell, pso, kixx, etc all are equally good.

W.S. If engine health is perfect in all respects, and you are not facing any oil reduction issues, then I would suggest Total Quartz 9000 Future Series 5w-30.

2nd option would be 10w-30 by Caltex / Havoline. 3rd would be 10w-40 by ZIC.

Mileage par depend nahi karta.Engine ki condition agar achi hai to 5w30 best hai.

After reading the conversation, I would say, he may continue using it!

In 20w-50, KIXX and Caltex / Havoline are good options.

He may try 10w-40 by ZIC, but I fear, it may not help, and bring harm than goodness, so to avoid taking any risk, IMO, 20w-50 is good option, as his engine is already tuned with it and working fine.

True, He is getting 10 to 12 KM per liter in City on 2050 Havoline Caltex with no pickup issue and good engine sound. So i also suggested him to keep using that until he rebuilds the Engine in future if needed and then use the lighter grade oil ! Thanks basit for your valuable suggestion. you always help!

If he goes for rebuild / overhaul, then mechanic must be expert, and should give him warranty of xx thousand Kms / xx months., and if he'll be an expert, he'll not refer 20w-50 to him, rather 10w-30 or 10w-40.

And if he suggests him 5w-30 after rebuild / overhaul, then indeed he is a true and confident mechanic, and knows what he is doing!

2ndly about engine oil so i would recommend eyes close and just go for total quartz 9000 5w30 gari bht sukoon me ajy g and one reason of recomendation is abi ye oil pakistan me zada emerge nhn hua to 2 numbri na hny ke brabr hai for filhal they are importing from i guess singapore so go for it....

Last but not least dont listen to road side dudes recomending toyota jeniyan 20w50 unless you wanna make your car loader rickshaw...
