Thanks for the interest Noman.
As for the mileage, I got this vehicle from the Customs auction in May 2010 where it had been standing for a couple of years (not sure how long). However I really do not know whether this mileage is accurate or not.
Secondly, the 70 series was introduced in November 1984 to replace the 40 series, but they had 3B and later 13Bt in diesel. Their chassis numbers begin with BJ. However when the Prado was inroduced in 1990 it came with the 3L (2776 cc) and 2LTE (2446) cc. The chasis numbers of these vehicles began with LJ.
However in 1993, the new Prado was introduced and the 2L-TE turbo diesel engine was replaced by the 3.0 liter (2982cc) 1KZ-TE turbo diesel engine with aluminium cylinder head. The 1KZ-TE was able to reduce NOx and soot. The dash board was replaced with a new design with minor changes to suspension, brakes, and trim details. These vehicles have a distinctive chassis number that always begins with KZJ.
