Brother Salman,
My post above was in response to Ahsan Arif's query who inquired about experience of transitioning from a sedan to a pickup truck.
My personal experience with the Revo has been extremely good. After having driven over 10,000 kms and done one return trip from Karachi to Peshawar and back, I find the Revo (in its stock condition) much more comfortable than the previous PKDM stock Vigo. The fuel economy is pretty decent (9.5km average till now). If you are into cross country or interior or northern areas trips and like to have a pickup truck, then look no further as this PKDM Revo offers good value for money. The features and comfort are pretty decent and the 3.0D4D Variable nozzle turbo engine is a globally proven platform which will serve you well for a long time provided you take care of it.
Having said that, a pickup truck due to its inherent design will always be relatively bouncier as compared to a sedan or for that matter, an SUV. You cannot and shouldn't expect the same comfort in a pickup truck as you'll get in a sedan or SUV. However, this doesn't mean that you'll have a sore back or feel nausea on long drives. I'm very overweight (ahem 110kg for a 5'10") and I drove straight from Multan to Karachi couple of months back during a 14+ hours drive with much comfort and was completely relaxed and feeling fine on my return.
Now, coming to "how to make the ride more comfortable". Like the AR-15 or Glock (if you're a gun enthusiast), the Hilux Revo or SR-5 has a lot of established after-market parts and accessories manufacturers / providers. There are companies like ironman, ARB, etc which have come up with different types of suspensions to meet the needs of different types of Hilux users. From normal city dwellers to heavy load carriers to rally drivers, these companies have suspension solutions for almost everyone. You can FURTHER IMPROVE the ride quality by opting for one of these suspensions as per your need.
The reason why I mentioned the "fed up" thing above was to highlight the fact that IF you do not NEED a pickup truck and IF you are just in it for the shashka, then I believe you'll get fed up with your pickup truck (any make or model) within a short period of time.
Hope this will enlighten you and clear any confusion, feel free to ask more questions.
