Although not on display yet, but a few units have been delivered at different dealerships, including Toyota Central Motors, Karachi (all sold immediately). If booked now, deliveries are at Feb-end 2017.
Went and had a look at the Revo V at Toyota Central Motors today and coincidentally also got the opportunity to thoroughly check out an imported one at Sh-Quaideen on Saturday.
Things missing in the local model (up-spec model), as compared to the international model, are:
1) Hill Descend Assistance Control;
2) Push-Start button (a big turn-off);
3) Rear A/C vents;
4) Bull-bar (doesn't come standard);
5) Front Camera (is front cam-ready, but front cam has to be purchased and installed separately);
6) Extra USB and 220V socket in the dash board are also missing.
The local model comes in different variants, Spec sheet of which, as published by Indus Motors, has been attached with this post for reference purposes.
All in all, I find the local model offering much much better features, interior aesthetics and functionality and exterior design, as compared to it's local predecessor. Regarding price, well it's subjective really. Depends who's looking at it from what perspective.
Among the colours, I found the "red sporty" standing out and showing a lot of "attitude". In silver, it looked relatively (to red), sober and executive-ish (if that's a word) and in "black", although it looked really nice and bold, the thought of ensuring that it stayed sparkling clean made me look back at silver and red.
