I recently flushed Brakes fluid in my current ride, and it took almost 4 bottles of 250 ml each of Caltex DOT 4 i.e. 1L in total.

Complete flushing in just ~400 ml of brakes fluid seems difficult to me.

Sir can you mention the sequence of bleeding in this car or a general thumb rule?

on toyotas or any japanese car the brakes are split like X - one front wheel and diagonally opposite wheel per circuit.

So - start with rear brakes first. - Make sure to use a catch jar to prevent air from being sucked back in from bleed nipple.

NOPE. My current ride is Accord.

As far as I know, your ride requires DOT 3, but you can use any of DOT 3, DOT 4 or DOT 5.1, but never, never pour DOT 5!

DOT 3 seems the most common, and abundantly used grade.

My current ride required DOT 3, but I used DOT 4 instead, and am fully satisfied and feel that brakes are performing much better.

Today I changed front disc pads and rear brakes shoes and also flushed brake fluid. Got all stuff from Toyota Mehran Rawalpindi. All service done at local Auto service center. Time taken was 2 hours. Brake parts are Toyota genuine and oil was also Toyota geniune DOT3. Total cost 17000 which include 2000 service charges. At 3S they charge 26k for parts only plus service charges.

Kindly check above. The brakes stuf which I got in May was not appropriate so shipped back to mehran auto and got it dine today.
Also kindly check old verse new condition. Although older brake pad was 5 mm thick but as per mechanic it has started degenerative process and is getting hard which can damage rotor plate

Hard brakepad is a general term used by ustad when their efficiency reduces I guess as if u see old pad is 5mm thick but at time I feel thay car takes more time to stop so decided of changing pads shoes and brakes oil as well and now it's good

I am using vitz for 5 years first owner since purchase and it s was stock pads from Japan. I have changed pads after almost 60k km.
I am from Kashmir and got stuff from mehran auto via TCS. I don't know about hamza younis but mehran response on phone and whattapp was good which lead to deal. I transferred payment online and in 24 he TCS as at my home. And workshop is at home town.
For gear oil , I took services of Toyota Islamabad I9, and they charged me 13000 for all including CVT FE
