As per your recommendation, Kashmir trip was dropped during the first week of March and we went to the malam Jabba skiing festival.

Now here's the next plan awaiting your approval/go-ahead:

May-6:
Multan to iSd (1600 - 0000hrs)

May-7:
ISd to Kutton (1200hrs to 1800hrs with breaks)

May-8:
Start of the day at 0800hrs, Explore keran, sharda and reach Keil at 1400hrs,
Then arrang Keil 1600-1800hrs and back to Keil at 2000hrs. Tough though, manage able?

May-9:
Keil to taobutt/hilmat? And back to keran.
This is the main concern, else the trip would be much comfortable.

May-10:
Leave keran at 0900hrs, mzd at 12noon, iSd at 1500-1700hrs and Multan at 0100hrs InshaAllah.

Experts opinion required.
Mode of transport would be cars till keran, then the rented transport (jeeps preferably) from keran and back.
Travellers would be all adults, willing to adventure and doesn't mind tiring...

yar 8 may wala din tuf hai... sharda kel aur arangkel aik din may from kutton possible said na ho... raat ko wapis aogay kel ??? i mean its a hike up there so its nt advisable to come bak at night time..

behtar hai wahan raat reh lo aur next day wapis kel ao aur taobat nikal jao.... phir us din wapis keran/kutton a sakty ho late night.....

its best u keep one day spare coz travel time kafi hain in jeep tracsk par .. 4 4.5 hrs ka hai kel to taobat w/o real stopages

I was also discussing the same with friends, and we will leave for Keil early without wasting any time and try to make it back from arrang Keil to Keil in day light.

Main concern is still the taobutt, will it be accessible or not?
Any means to confirm it. Because if taobutt is doubtful or not accessible in these days then our plan will be much simpler....

We re planning on hiring a 13 seater high-roof from Islamabad.
It will take us:
Islamabad to Kutton (night stay)
Kutton to kail (night stay at arrang kail)
Kail to islamabad

An acquaintance from Kutton is charging 32000 for this whole trip (transportation only, including fuel).
Is it ok as I still have not tried to bargain at all.
He will charge of extra 4000 if we make it to taobutt n back, on jeep.

Plus, also tell me the DOs & DONTs of camping at arrang kail, we will be renting a parachute tent for 2000/night, the guy said it will be sufficient to accommodate 10 adults.

We have never done camping before.

From another source, we can rent out a 13 seater high roof for 4000/day, fuel plus driver messing/lodging will be our responsibility. I am worried the driver might not be familiar with the road conditions n turns of that area...

As for the first option, the driver frequently visits kail.

this ull have to conform with ur tour operator... well camps hotay to hain arang kel may bhe wahan bht abadi hai yara.. agar camp kel say bhe layjana ho tu u can share and carry it with u... is kay ilawa hazar banda mil jay ga dehari par kel say camp upar layjanay kay liay its nothing to worry abt really

yes this is doable....

islamabad to kutton = 7 hrs drive
only last ay will be very hectic .. u shud realize that kel to shaunter (lake and waterfall tak) and back to kel is a complete day trip so ull have rto travel to muzbd after magrib......... since u r on hired vehicle u dont really have to worry abt driving but u mite get really tierd......

yar hopefully the glaciers shud clear by then... but there is alwayz a chance that the way is blocke... shunter may ziada masla hota hai glaciers ka.................
