Nope, not yet. I confirmed yesterday. I was coming back from Khunjerab and i tried to take that route but it was closed.

Aoa Guys,

Need Advise about Travel to khunjerab pass on Suzuki every 2009 4x4 or Honda Fit Hybrid 2011

Both have Automatic Transmission.

Total 5 passengers

The disadvantage with honda fit is Low Ground Clearance and We want to travel through Babusar pass and not sure about

Suzuki every's 660cc engine power.

we have plan to begin our travel on second day of eid but still have not decided the vehicle yet.

In my opinion u can do it on any of mentioned cars. Just came back from khunjarab through babusar pass. U will find 5 or so kms of off road there rest there is asphalt road. Do watch thw weather closely coz this 5 km off road gets muddy if it rained. Army vehicles are always there to keep the babusar roads open though. Ground clearance can be increased I think if u consider to do so.

Hi guys we are three friends and we are planning to visit skardu, deosai and saif ul malook And this is the best plan we could come up with our budget is 45k (15k each)! Can you help us make this better or any alternative route.
Aug 01: Departure from islamabad 6 pm
Aug 02: reach skardu at 10 pm stay the night in a hotel
Aug 03: Skardu to deosai via sadpara lake and return to the hotel at night
Aug 04: Visit mantokha falls in Skardu and reach Chillas stay the night in a hotel in chillas
Aug 05: From Chillas drive to Raikot Bridge take a Jeep drive to Tatu and trek to Fairy Meadows and Camp there at night
Aug 06: Trek to Nanga parbat Basecamp and return to Fairy meadows
Aug 07: Return from fairy meadows to Chillas
Aug 08: Chillas to Naran
Aug 09: Visit Aansu lake and camp at Saif-ul-malook at night
Aug 10: Return to Islamabad

Well time for another trip...

Plan is as given below:

Aug-28 (day-1)
Multan to islamabad
Can't stretch it any further as we will be leaving around 1500hrs and will reach isd by midnight InshaAllah.

Day-2:
Islamabad > Naran > babusar top > chillas

Day-3
Chillas-astore- deosai

Day-4:
Deosai-Naran via same route

Day-5:
Naran to Multan.

We will be driving by our own up to chillas for sure and may be till astore (as per recommendation)
Cars would be 2x Honda City 2011 and one Corolla XLi 2005.

Need info for deosai, contacts needed for jeep and camping at deosai.

Plus which place is best for stay at Naran considering our itinerary.

Dates and number of days are not flexible...

can you add more days?

A suggestion.
If you have less days try to visit other places.
SWAT/NARAN/Faairy Meadows etc etc.
Leave sakrdu for Next time.

Don't have more days brother, the schedule is as tight as stated but still I believe I can make it to deosai.

Please share if you have any knowledge regarding jeep fares and travelling time from astore to deosai and back including all important spots.
Any contact details of jeep wala would be great.
