The Swap story:

I was chatting with my dear friend Mr. Palay Khan, about doing something cool with car and we ended up deciding lets swap the engine and gearbox. So, palay goes chks out some engines with his mechanic and calls me up that he found "the engine". i was like wow! ok, send it over buddy. I sent him money he buys and sends it to me. next thing i knew engine is here i send a guy to pick it up.

This bearing goes into 4age gearbox unit

some parts were taken off by seller so we can reduce the price.
seperate oil pump ,, there was a crack in oil pump on engine.

i hire a mech/with garage space to help me, we start opening up engine parts to clean.

took the top cover off

took the sump(bottom cover) out

i start cleaning stuff with brush, kerosene oil and later spray petrol to get clean clean look.

this is fun:)

ok now lets see, what we have here cleaned

a oil filter unit, unit of water inlet where thermostate goes in, and oil pump assembly.

Rs.700/- for 4afe switch that works with 4age , same fitting, i bought from Toyota Township last year,, ok now back frm no electricity shortbreak,, i have like 7 times in a day no electrcity breaks:)

ok now here comes the car, we start unbolting engine parts

The legend that ran well with Boxster S poppat turbo can confirm that,, still in grt condition till the last day it was in car.

remove bonnet, airtake, exhuast, axles,radiator etc.

car got new quality bushings in suspension, new clutch, new pressure plate,,while it was in tuneup. i wasnt happy with this new clutch of 4afe later i changed it again from a jdm clutch.
