Value of an BBA degree in Karachi

No, he means his brother did his Bachelors from IU and capsat sent him to the UK for a Masters, and he's doing well now. TBH, IU is crap now. I know atleast a dozen graduates and masters from IU looking for jobs since a couple of years now.

correction - I made my mum understand the importance of studies & education which was not done at IQRA but only lucha lafanga paan cut paste copying in the name of combined study doing party gratification to faculty chief etc, my mum did the rest of work with me behind the scene. Credit goes to my mum - Shadi Nahi ho gi Jab taak Masters Nahi Karay ga Bahar sai , now he has 3 boys youngest being 2 year old

Hmm, I see. Btw I am 22 yrs old, the age mentioned on my profile was due to mistake while signing up the account.

I have been trying in Szabist since last two years but failed in the interview at the first attempt, and failed the test in the second attempt. Lol thats a sad part.

Now, Im planning to persue my BBA from greenwich and then persue my MBA from Australia or Malaysia.

Now Im confused what to choose between Iqra and Greenwich.

And also, will the name of the uni(greenwich or iqra) have some negative impact on my job AND/OR
FUTURE CAREER GROWTH?

I salute your candid honesty SZBAIST is a school which accepts D graders & clearing class 12th in suppl. exams, whats' your weakness? failing in interview & test later, you need to review your aptitude & attitude both.

Basically, at the first attempt when I cleared my test, then at the day of interview I got food-poison for the first time in my life :). Vomitted right before leaving from home however my blood pressure went down and stuff but managed to drive and reached there and messed interview a bit because I got nervous as I wasnt well and had this thing on my mind that today is the day which will through me for my career. .

Plus, Ive also heard that, the value that counts is of the final degree that you get. (That is MBA in my case) since Ill not be doing my mba from iqra or greenwich

Bro my cousin graduated from there and then did his masters from Iqra too, now he's working in Standard Chartered. Got into SC through source. He and some other people told me Iqra places itself at the top ranking by the money .

And please guide, to what extent is it true that if one does his BBA from a low ranked uni then does his MBA from a good uni in Pak or abroad then is it true that his final degree(that is MBA) will make an impression for the jobs and career in the future rather than his BBA degree that was earned from a lower ranked uni?
Please guide me and also other experts and @capsat bro once again Ill take your precious time on this.

Well my professional background is Engineering and that too Civil Engineering field. I graduated back in year 2K. I really dont know about local trends at this time. I believe every degree has a value if you do it with distinction and from a reputable instituation. I hope some members comes here and really give a proper advise.

maaf kar dai bhai - I know an MBA from IBA, working as Plumbing Draughtsman in a construction company in UAE, his hobby was cad & cam he learned draughtsman ship earned a diploma and using his hobby to earn a living, DID his MBA because his father wanted, but he defied when it was about earning a life. - check thread - "How people get Jobs in UAE" and find my relevant post in that respect.

analyse yourself talk to someone elderly in family who you trust and discuss, assess your self for what your passion is and what you want to be in next 15 years, whats' the catch if the passion is missing.

. study what your passion is about and you stay focused on it.

i guess he went straight for a job without doing any exp in pak & u answer the question urself that he didn't had any interest that's the main reason mere bhai. I knw 2 of iba bba graduates & both got job straight away now earning 80k in isb

Bro I guess the graduates you are talking about, they must have applied at a job where none of the IBA graduate would have applied. When it comes about best karachi business school, one name fades others that is IBA-
And when we talk about overall Pakistan then it is LUMS. .
