What is the problem in Suzuki Liana?

thanks for posting all ur information regarding liana..well i also think its a good car with cheap parts and resale b/c its a suzuki..but yet didnt tried on petrol or cng....hope fully my mind is to buy liana whenever I change my car.....

the name says the problem for it self li a na yani keh showroom say hanstay huay laijana phir doosray din rotay huay lay aa na bhai mere suzuki ki kisi bhi car ko purchase nahi karnaa please bohut kharab cars hain inki.

@MINICA1....bhai it all depends upon ypur luck also, either you get a really good quality peice, or either you get a poor quality piece....because pak-suzuki does not have any quality control.

I think Honda City owners just can't tolerate the fact that a cheap brand like Suzuki has made an excellent car like Liana, which is much better than their top brand with "H" logo.
Come on, be honest...what is there in City which you can claim to be good? Apart from the aloof feeling of driving a Honda... The company doesn't even offer a CD player..tell me who still buys audio cassettes? And the tyres look like they came from a bicycle...13" rims??? and 1.65 width???? The gap between fender and wheel is huge, and it looks ugly. I would say the whole look of the car is ugly, it looks like it is frowning at you. But for you guys, its still a Honda, and it HAS to be the best, no matter how good the other cars are.

liana is 89 bhp,city is 78
liana engine is producing 116nm of toruqe while city is 106nm.

City is also short in some equipments like abs,outside temprature guage.etc

Liana is much better ask those people who have driven both the vehicles.
or just simply take a test drive

Yes, just take a test drive!
When I was choosing to buy a car, I tested the best-rated car for driving pleasure, ie. Mitsubishi Lancer. The model given to me for test drive was 1.6 Petrol. And after testing Liana 1.3 on CNG I found out that there was no perceptible difference! So I bought Liana.
Quality issues are there, but they can be resolved and customer care is not bad.
Drive a Liana on Petrol with good tyres, I can assure you of a pleasure drive!

1-bad Average
2-pickup problem on CNG And on Petrol also.
3-Very very bad drive no comfort in the drive
4-Bad resale

So i now think that Honda City Is the best option

LIANA Gives abt 13-17 km km/L
minimum 140 km /Cylinder.....

I think its pick up and gear ratio is far better than corolla where the output of city and LIANA engine are exactly the same .......

3-Drive varies from person to person cant comment.....

4-Pakistan ke logong ke dimagh abhi mature nahin hian....(sorry to say)Tum log gari use karne ke liye khradte ho ke resale ke liye...agr nai afford ker sakte tu na khredo,,,

do doubt honda city is also a good car..withe same resale with worst road grip and bad breaks and cant go on Pakistani roads........

a freind of mine owns this FUZOOL car, despite the mileage difference (City abt 14 KM. Liana abt 16 Km) have u any guys feel the comfort in the Honda City....Liana doesnt gives you a pleasure feel too....its interior is not sobor, a childish ugli interior, and from out side, LIANA has just vertical shapes, whats abt it length.....

I know Liana is genuine CNG fitted but if u install CNG kit from a good mechanic, beleive me CITY has a better mileage and pick power.....

The suzuki company wont think of its customer satisfaction rather to make DABBAS..

The good thing Suzuki provided is its cheap Parts, but what now abt liana parts and maintenance its all equal to City...then why not we go for a good car

Liana is one pathatic, over priced, no-reliable and ugly car .......

lancer is the choice, if u r considering justification of price, if u considering resale and spare parts and will sell in just 2-3 years, then offcouse go for liana, otherwise it has no worth of that much price.

who ever is replying here please tell me one thing honestly how many of you have ever driven a liana ?

and people who are saying its a crap with cheap parts take my words its opposite, car is extremelly comfortable and fun to drive where as parts are dam expansive.

Its a good reliable car I have driven mine 45000 kms and there is no retalling noises from dash boards or doors one person said here it makes noises get your facts straight buddy.

Always post your answers with justifications.

I own both xli and liana rxi since these both cars are mine and i love them the same take my words liana is 100 times better then rolla in all aspects.
