What's up with Car Sales Nowadays?

Been finding a Cultus 2018 VXR/ VXL for a long time now , car being listed on PW and OLX are just mehhh all the time, like iam unable to see a clean car , heck a proper car, with no alterations to engine bay. i don't mind sprayed sides or whatever, but i also went and checked few cars, they were drastically different from pics , ajeeeeb , And only abused cars are being listed....

P.S If anyone selling a clean , 2018 Cultus VXR.VXL , i dont mind mileage , until its properly maintaied , lemme know. in karachi.

delay your purchase for next 5 months. soon we will see surge of used japanese vehicles at dealerships. for sure certified vehicles. thats when locally used abused cars will become more affordable. @hassankhan03

Instead of Cultus, I will suggest you to buy from some JDM spec. Nissan models

Car sales nosedived after 2019. Since people weren't buying new cars as much, the used car supply eventually dwindled. This has happened in other countries as well.

This might change in the next 5 years if the IMF recommended used car policy is implemented consistently.

the japanese auction web sities have reported significant rising demand of NISSAN NOTE E-power vehicles from Pakistan. in past 21 days at many auction sites Nissan 2020 onwards model of NISSAN NOTE variants has vanished as SOLD.

It seems Honda City & Yaris are about to have serious competition from USED JDM NOTE E-power. It appears that Gandhara may be able to make a come back for NISSAN brand in Pakistan.

I have been searching for an ags cultus/alto with 2.6 2.7 million budget and cant find one.... Location is lahore.
I dont know what sellers want
A 4 5 years old ags alto selling for 2.8-3 million when a new one costs 3.4 million.
I resorted to try ev ( inverex ) but will have to save up for 220 varient.
I don't know what to do... Not in any urgency but what do you guyz recommend?
What about this import policy and will it benefit lower segment as well?

We sold our ags cultus for 27.5 6 months ago if I remember correctly. The car did have a slight issue in its gear which to repair would cost around 1.5, replace with CVT around 3.5 and company replacement would be 7. Considering that we still managed to sell our car pretty quick despite informing of the issue. Body, interior and everything else was well maintained.
