Hy, I purchased bike in October 2017, it's about 3 months now, for Rs.115900 with Studds Ninja Elite Helmet included. Well I am very satisfied with bike with some minor issues. I cannot compare this bike with other bikes much better because of the fact that I was previously using Scooter since 20 years but what I heard and observed I will confess about it frankly. Issues: it's 3 months and the battery do missing occasionally only not frequently for which dealer told me that battery have 6 months warranty while I am afraid if the battery do start missing frequently after 6 months have passed. Second issue is that it's always difficult to bring bike to Neutral level while Yamaha person at workshop told me to bring back to Neutral level from gear 2, still having issues.
Now what I have observed YB125Z is quite heavier than CG125 despite that it's soft, smooth and comfort level is awesome because CG125 owners told me that vibration is visible when reaching 100 while on YB125Z it's clearly not. Tyres are bigger than CG125. Gap between tyres is longer. Height is more than CG125. In terms of speed YB125Z beats CG125 in 5th gear not before that. I achieved speed of maximum 100 and I personally consider this as maximum because after 100 manoeuvrability and reaction time decreases significantly while on busy public roads. Higher speed may be achieved on roads which are not public or busy. Caution: always use back brake in stages not continuously because it will result in turning of back tyre to one side. If you want to reduce speed instantly then use both brakes simultaneously. Conclusion: YB125Z is best bike at the moment and beats every bike in 125cc category in terms of both price and performance.
