I drained 5-4 times with clean water and after that with some baking soda water..it water comes out from other pipe of radiator(engine off ) it means that all the water has drained ? am I Correct ?thermostat is for auto fan and what does the t-stat valve for ? I drained by taking the pipe out from lower side of radiator
You didn't remove t-state valve before adding coolant? If you didn't remove t-stast you have trapped a lot of acid in cooling system no matter who much you flush it
T-state valve is there to ensure your engine reaches optimum temperature
I didn't add coolant at that time, I added simple tap water.BTW I guess my car is missing that t-stat valve as my heater doesn't heat as much in rainy weather and mechanic said some valve is missing ( I guess he meant that T-stat) , and suggested not to install as summer has reached. where is the location of that T-stat btw ?
T-state valve location depends upon engine btw kick that mechanic hard who said t.valve is no needed in summar
He said it will affect the cooling (AC ) of the car, get it installed when the winter comes.can you tell me the specs of thermostat that I should get ?
82 C t-state valve is used in g10a
It uses 88 deg C T valve

Fine I"ll get that ,and what about making pipes rust free, can I change this pipe ,running from water body (i guess) to rubber pipes that of radiator , on my own as I noticed solid rust inside this pipe ?
brothers 82 or 88 'c ?
The effect of t.valve on ac cooling is negligible. Without t.valve your engine is dying slowly you should consider adding a t.valve to your cars cooling system.
Recommend t.valve for cultus is of 82 Degree Celsius.
its 82C some scrapyard suzuki engines had 88C thermostat. but in pakistan its 82C
suzukis come with 88 deg T-valve...open up your t-valve housing and see for yourself
82 deg is good but originally suzukis come with the the 88 deg one
Thanks all for your suggestions, I"ll get 82 degree one ,Insha Allahand what about cooling system to make it completely rust free, so I can pour some good coolant
There are two cultuses in our family. One is 2004 and other one is 2007 both are carby. Both have the same t.valve i.e. 82C one and they came FF with that.
Change all the rusted metal pipes clean the radiator also flush out the heater matrix if connected. And you are good to go. Pour in some good quality coolant like ZIC or Caltex.
Installed that thermostat valve today, 82'c one,Now how to fell the difference or check if that valve is working correctly ? it has been installed so cant check by putting in hot water
bought this coolant today for 250/, will run it for a 3-4 weeks or so,drain all ( so rust etc all clear) and then put some good coolant ,what do u say ?
How to check if t-stat is working , Just installed today and my radiator fan gets on at this point of guage , is it normal or should I change that sensor switch ? ( simple tap water in radiator )
Guard coolant is also ok.. At least better than tap water alone.
