i also went to toyota sahara motors today. the mechanic tightened some screw and its better now. but i am not satisfied totally as when it runs over a cat eye. the sound from rear tyre or shock is different from the front one. the guy told me that it due to the weight of the engine in front of the car. i dont think this should be the reason as i never experienced that in my Alto
Alto's suspension is softer if compared with coure's suspension ... did you try decreasing the air pressure in your rear tires idea should be 28 PSI ..... do that and check
consider tire inflation and changing ur tires if required...get comfort tires...they make a lotta difference.
go get ur ride checked by some experts all will be well
i have yukohama tires driven about 10k ... i think those tires were the most soft as told by the shopkeeper. also the size is 155/70/12. Now this is interesting. i saw some sticker at the door panel some time earlier and it was written that the pressure in all tires should be 26. so i maintain 26 pressure in all tires after that. but that aint solving the problem either
take it to some old toyota dealership like toyota walton. They are expensive so first ask them for an estimate and problem cause, then share with us what they diagnosed. Discuss it with there workshop foreman not an ordinary mechanic.
IMO: its the shocks problem, the rear shocks do this if they get little bend in some jumps or khaddas.
I have gone through it in coure two years back.
good that at least they are recalling them!
pretty uncommon culture in Pakistan!
so whats the solution ?
I got new shock for the rear do not repair the tak tak one's - for me this worked.
As my car is under warranty so i went to the toyota shop and they simply told me that the shocks of cuore never get dammaged
i will go to bilal gunj this weekend. can any one tell me what options do i have? which car's springs will fit in cuore ?
dear i have the similar problem i only change the rubber rubber at joint of shock onserber and body and problem resolved
thanks for the reply brother. how much did it cost you ? what car do u have and was it totally solved ?
