well, less then 1300cc cost around 22k and more then 1300cc cost around 35+k depending upon car price, i think 1% of the actual ammount+ some tax, for less then 1300CC, and 2% + some taxes for more then 1300cc. I haven't registered any car for pretty long so i am not sure about actual cost. & my GLI still don't have any number, thinking about selling it so didn't bother to get any number for it.
Registration procedure:
go to ETO office
1. Fill the form (known as Form-F)
2. Attach documents with the form like sale invoice, sale certificate, ID card, Chalan form, etc)
3. get you car inspected from motor vehicle inspector.
4. submit the papers
they will give you a paper containing registration No. of vehicle along with date for issuance of ergistration papers.
There is another way to get ur car registered.
Outside ETO office there are touts / brokers.......... they will charge Rs. 5000/- and get ur car registered ......
