Salam. May u find a good sturdy horse. My sicncere advice to u is that opt for toyota (prefferably Prado), don't even think of buying a pajero or defender.
Pajero has a nice exterior but has extremely poor offroading capabilities and depreciates very fast. Not technologically as sound as a Toyota. Not long lasting at all. Resale is very problematic. Defender is good at offroading but is extremely uncomfortable and the exterior and interior are not pretty. They too depreciate very fast and are unreliable. Being assoiated with WAPDA Iv had Potohar, Pajero, Land Cruiser, Hilux, Sportage and the latest model of Defender. The defenders and Sportages are in tatters in just 3-4 years. Pajeros fare slightly better but get stuck more often than the others. The Land Cruisers are faithful work horses that keep accept whatever treatment they are given and still keep performing. They are graceful, sturdy, and comfortable. Army and Police had exactly the same experience. Army bought Defenders but decided never to buy them again and have recently bought the good old 70 series Toyota LC. Police has also been buying the 70 series from 1985 till date and while all police vehicles fall apart within a short span, 25 year old 70 series Toyota LCs are still marching on in faded blue. Mechanics are also more adept with Toyota LC and spare parts are in plenty whether new or Kabuli. Go for a Toyota my bro.
