a JDM car is ANY day better than the locally assembled , if you can
- sacrifice the slight difference in resale . ( not applicable on popular cars like VITZ )
- afford the maintenance.
- get a 100% clean properly documented properly and genuine graded car after thorough inspection ( this ones a PAIN )
for the price range , u need to add a few more details of what exactly are you buying , model , grade , odometer reading etc.
for the mileage , if you do some proper calculations ...
you spend 50k+ on CNG
as a result ur mantainence expense rise , by atleast 15-20k per year ...
in 5 years of owning that car ... you spent 100k .
now what have you saved ?
CNG costs 5 rs per km .....
petrol costs 9 rs per km ...
so u save Rs 4 per km ....
so AFTER 25000 km .... u will actually start to earn back what you spent......
it would take you 3 years to reach this mark at an average... after 2 more years ...u will hardly save 50k ....
thats it..... and that too when the CNG prices are reduced.... if they get high again .... NOT EVEN THAT ....
so run it on petrol VITZ will easily give you a mileage of 11-12 properly tuned.
