Hi,
I've a 2010-model, 1L Vitz. Since the past week, if I leave the car parked for six hours or so, the engine/ignition cranks two to three seconds longer when starting for the first time. Last week I added four litres of hi-octane on top of super. However, I noticed the longer crank time once before adding the hi-octane.
What could be the issue? It runs fine otherwise. There are no other perceivable issues. The battery is three-years old. Is it an early sign of battery going down? It works fine otherwise.
I found one other thread here with a similar problem, but I couldn't find anything conclusive in the discussions.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
