I have an altis 2009, it is a manual but the instrument cluster has a light for cruise control. I know that the same engine has cruise in the auto variant, can cruise be installed to the manual as well?
Yes. Even though it isn't advised to get aftermarket cruise control in any car. If any issues were to come up the car might get stuck at the cruise speed selected. Can be quite dangerous. But there are manual cars that come with factory fitted cruise control.

I have cruise control installed in my 2008 civic. No issues at all, Working perfectly fine, Cruise is disconnected once you push in the brake or clutch which requires separate brake and clutch switch.

I have cars with factory fitted cruise control. But an 05 pajero that doesn't have it. I want it. Really badly. But I don't trust Pakistani electricians too much to ensure no muck ups would occur.. how long you had it? And from where? Maybe I should rethink my stance as well
I got brake switch and install from an electrician in Lahore. However it can be done as a diy also search around videos and pw. Also you need a cruise control supportive ecu. Civic has supportive ECU by company don't know about pajero
It does as cruise control is an option in third gen pajeros. Sadly it wasn't selected by whomever purchased it brand new. I'll ask my electrician and see what he thinks - if he says no I'm still gonna shy away I think. But thanks! Also I mostly avoid diy for fear of screwing something up..
You need to make sure your meter and ecu are cruise supportive first. If you ate sure then you are good to go and just need to compile stuff for install
Third gen is. They run the same computer within all of them from what I know (could totally be wrong).. but will confirm just to be sure. Thanks once again!
Does a manual altis and an auto have the same ecu? If it does, then it supports cruise. Where does one install brake and clutch switches

Check Bilal Gunj mil jaega udarse. You might need cruise supported meter though
I am in rawalpindi, can't these be bought new? I have a cruise supported meter
If you are certain about cruise supported meter. Then try sultan ka kho in pindi, You should be able to get the cruise button and switches from there.
Cruise is switch and steering fitting is available new. Not quite sure what the brake switch and clutch switch look like and how and where to install them
Try sultan ka Kho for both the switches or else ask your electrician who is going to ask.
Yes. What do we call them in local language and where are these to be installed, asking you since you have gotten this done
They are simple brake switch and cruise switch even that was written on invoice. If you want to make him understand let him know the switch which disconnects cruise once you push clutch and brake as for manual car requirement. You will get them 800-1200 for each switch max.
Will think this over 8k for cruise control, could be great
