AOA,
I have my eyes on an old yamaha that a relative is planning to get rid of. It is a 1985 2 stroke.
edit : Its a 100cc deluxe
Is there any 100cc or above engine that will fit the yamaha frame?
If its the yb 100 then you can fit the yd 100 engine which is a 4 stroke
It has the same fitting as the engine is built around the same chasis

Btw if you do swap the engine plz contact me for the 2 stroke engine of that bike
I need spares for my yb 100
its a 100cc deluxe
Yep its a yb 100.. It can easily take the 4 stroke yamaha yd 100 or yamaha junoon engine as all have same chassis
you think ybr engine can also fit? 5 gears and starter motor are nice things to have @xulfiqar
Ybr's engine is vertical while yb100's is horizontal, both engines have different angles....mounts of both engines are different and as ybr's engine is vertical so it have mount at front while yb100 chassis doesn't had such mount so if you want it to fit you need to cut weld on chassis
Many engines can fit your frame if you have a good dentor...
It is just a matter of time and money!!!!
the yb100 engine you mentioned will do. Fewer alterations are better....denter only knows about joining metal, not metallurgy. I have no trust on those oxy-acetylene welds
You are right brother it is better to stick as close to stock as possible.. (p.s its a yd 100 4 stroke engine)
