I have Cultus 2008 VXRi with 2000 kilometers. The problem is with ECU of the car. Its timing have been out for four times since purchase and every time I have to go to the dealer and he re sets it with lap top. Yesterday the same thing happened. This morning when I started the car it switched to CNG after 3 to 5 second instead of the usual 90 seconds. Is there any cure for this.
cure is PAKSUZUKI
ur car is in warranty !! give them tough time
warenty ha..yara ja ker proper cheak kero
go to the dealer and ask him to replace the ECU in warranty.
yes cure is never buy a suzuki again.
anyways i think ur mentioning the delay problem of petrol to cng conversion. i dont think it is a ecu fault. has something to do with the cng switch
candyMan plz concentrate he is talking about premature conversion!
gemini! claim ECU replacement at earliest, if its the culprit.
he is right
There is a adjustment screw installed in the conversion switch by twisting this screw u can increase or decrease the conversion time,it is better get it adjusted by any cng expert.
If you are going to claim ECU in warranty, remember that you should not have installed central locking system or alarm system.Otherwise they will not entertain your claim.
^ Digg!
your problem seems to be that the engine temperature sensor is not killing CNG activation. Your FF CNG will not convert on a cold engine, it will only run on CNG when its normal operating temperature i.e. 90 degrees or something near. Its tied into the CNG switchover itself. Shoot them in the head for not fixing it permanently
zulfi bhai how could he shoot them after two years.
What does ECU stand for?
Engine control unit
CandyMan is right. It could only be CNG Switch problem because it is responsible to start on petrol and then convert to CNG at a particular rpm or after some time.
