Thanks .. well, to begin with, yes i concur that to feel in command in any new vehicle, one needs to drive it for few hundred kms. 2nd motorway trip was different from my first as last time it was me and my brother only two people and this time it was whole family MashAllah with 5 people on board, all adults. All of us had our personal bags and several other stuff to carry as well so the trunk space of vezel was put to test. She passed it with flying colors as still there was room for more luggage
The cabin space is more than ample for 5 adults but i have to say that middle rear seat not that comfortable for long drives. It never felt as an issue for in city short trips but for a long journey, certainly 4 adults should be preferred.
Engine and drive had no issue at all with so much weight on board. Never once it felt under powered or heavy in feel.
And yes, no M2 journey is complete without a small race ;p Actually i was just cruising at 120kmph when someone approached me from right lane. It was also a family with 5 people on board. Prado 2013 (new shape). The guy on driving seat was almost my age and seemed sensible. On realizing that there was a clear passage ahead, we ever so mildly exchanged the looks for a showdown from 120 onward i switched to sports and we were off. Vezel took the initial lead from 120kmph of about 3 feet. We went ahead in a straight line till 175 and prado was unable to reduce the gap. it all happened in a matter of seconds and then we came down to our normal speeds. For a 1.5 L engine to hold up and lead a 2.7 L engine from 120 onward is a stunning testimony to Honda's brilliant engineering.

Thank you so much, Li Ion battery is air cooled, although Ford, Chevy and some companies are using the liquid cooling system but evidence until now shows that air cooling is still preferable for Li Ion batteries .. Let's see how it holds out in Lahore's scorching summer

Thanks, Well Reactive Force Pedal can be set to 3 different levels if engaged. The Highest level basically implies that even if you push the pedal to the fullest, the pedal will force back and limit the throttle up to a certain extent. This situation is useful in snow driving (so that tyres don't keep rolling) and for in city economy driving (as throttle would be locked/limited by the computer on board) ...

Ouch. So my Vezel just became a little more expensive. On the other hand, she has set sail from Japan and I'm expecting to welcome her with open arms towards the end of March.

A relative has recently purchased a 2013 X Grade Vezel. Spoke to him in detail last night and he is extremely happy with his purchase. He said the car is giving him 23-25km/l in the city (not that fuel economy was his target but still, good to have). He also took it to Hyderabad (from Karachi) and he said that the Vezel behaved well on the highways. According to him, the auto AC is a bit difficult to work but then that could be down to personal aptitude also. However, he says that the Brake Hold feature is brilliant for the stop and go traffic in Karachi and that he's loving that feature more than anything else.

All this has just made me more and more eager for my Vezel to arrive. Counting down the days... Tick tock tick tock...

@mhansari congrats on the purchase. InshAllah vezel shall not let you down. Good to hear positive feedback coming from other cities as well. The wait period is very exciting and anticipation just adds to the fun of owning it all the best
