Well Dr. Sab it was a joy ride in every aspect. even in the land sliding area where corollas... Citys.. Civic' were stuck Vezel went off smoothly.. makhan mai sy bal ki tra

it can easily drive even on extreme ascents.. once you understand its requirements... ( just have to turn off the eco mode, and switch on the sport mode )

it acted like a off road vehicle and suspension was really comfortable on off roads.

and above all fuel average was excellent.. it gave me 17km/L average after drive of 1823 km including the hilly ascends

and not to forget...jab land cruiser/ fortuner mai bethy log mur mur k is car ko dekhty hain... to pesy poory ho jaty hain

MashAllah .. great to know she lived up to your expectations and performed brilliantly on tough and rough terrains as well. Totally dispels the impression of certain critics who say she's just a show toy for urban areas

Zulfiqar Bhai is operating in a totally different market of US and the standards and criteria of vehicle selection and preference is totally different here.
I lived in Pakistan for about more than 2 decades of my life - drove a Honda Accord for ages (put on 400K kms), toyota cowrolla (terminally boring) , mazda 808 (first car - but given to me in dead condition), mazda RX7 (oldie toy - usually in state of repair but fun), VW Golf (my favorite - and also orignally bought in dead condition) - never once did I consider any of those as luxury or posh cars - however I do see people on PW say a Honda Accord is a luxury car.

Its not about country or economy, The standards never change - e.g. you wont compare pyrex to royal copenhagen would you? Or a milled out rug to a piece from Hamadan - Or in car repair items - Hazet/Snap On/Elora to (insert made in china name)

@Xulfiqar .. Sir respectfully disagreed. Honda accord costs over 10 million here. It doesn't matter where it stands in international ranking, point being it's out of affordability range of more than 97 percent of Pakistanis, hence in our country of residence making it a luxury vehicle.
Every country has it's own definition of luxury according to its economic status and there's nothing wrong with that, it's how the planet works. Imagine if there was no difference, or diversity in cultures, perceptions and growth indicators. How would the world order balance our itself ??
Yes we wish our standards of luxury would match the western markets, it would be nice to have Mercedes as your yellow cabs wouldn't it but we're not Germans. We're Pakistan, a growing and developing economy still some way to go before we reach there.

I disagree on that - your case would have been correct 100 years ago, not today.

lets take another example - buy a Prius in Singapore, its umm stupidly expensive.... is it a luxury car there?

@Xulfiqar .. in Singapore vehicles are expensive due to limited space they have as a country, and have an excellent public transport system as they want to encourage that. I've lived there for a while. So that analogy is not accurate at all I'm afraid.

How is that not comparable to Pakistan? The drive out price of a car is far too high compared to other countries just like Pakistani market drive out price of a car is pretty high.

On the same analogy and the fact that you lived there - was Prius/accord etc a luxury/posh/status symbol in Singapore.

@Xulfiqar .. the whole point was Singapore's affordability and living standards way ahead of us due to their economy. The drive out price of vehicles there is expensive for totally different reasons than Pakistan.
They can't afford too many vehicles on the road. Here that is not the reason. Reasons eventually lead to perceptions and market structure.
Let's just say we agree to disagree on this one

Well that's a nice and friendly way to end discussions are meant to express opinions, not necessarily to agree or "rock anyone's boats" '
They call you an automotive encyclopedia and I'm a big admirer of your knowledge and gift that He has blessed you with MashAllah when it comes to mechanical stuff, but unfortunately we're in TWO different worlds at the moment with very different definitions and perceptions about standard and luxury.

@hummzz .. well the vehicle is basically on a standstill and barely running for a couple of months. And oil may lose it's properties, so better to change imo
