    Default Honda Vezel Hybrid Owners/Fan Club

    Assalam-o-Alaikum Honda Vezel Hybrid owners/fans and fellow Pakwheelers. After encouragement and support from you guys and making Vezel's first thread on PW a great success https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/mem...-alhamdolillah , it's time to finally unveil the official Honda Vezel Hybrid owners/fan club thread on Pakwheels.
    Now, when Hawkzel arrived in January this year, she was one of the very few in the whole country. But I had faith that Almighty will reaffirm my passion of cars and many others will follow suit. My confidence was not out of proportion or an illusion as I knew that Vezel had everything going for her in our market's future. In an era where Honda Atlas and Toyota Indus are going down on quality as compared to their previous generations, with depreciating yen and slashed duty structure on hybrids, it was just a matter of time before Vezels started roaming and zipping around on our streets and surely they have begun to. At the time of this writing, I can confirm 21 owners of Honda Vezel Hybrid in Lahore alone. The total number of owners has gone past 100 within last 3 months
    Now, for those who don't know about this car, or who might be considering it or for newlyweds with vezel, let's shed some light on its brief history, trims and features.

    Concept

    In automotive world, everything starts with a concept. And this time, it was a new design category that came into being "CROSSOVER" as they called it. Crossover for the fact it uses two platforms. Like Vezel is a crossover built on Honda FIT/ Jazz platform but takes design clues of CRV. Size and space wise vezel is smaller than CRV but larger than FIT/ Jazz. Also the ride height is more which make it look like a SUV. Nissan Juke as well as the new Mazda CX3 all compete in this segment.

    If you go on higher end models Audi Q3, Mercedes GLA are crossovers on A3 sedan and CLA sedan platforms respectively.

    Sales of Honda Vezel Hybrid started in japan on 20th December 2013. By the end of First quarter of 2014, it had already broken into top 10 selling cars in Japan. As of June/July 2014 it entered top 5 most selling cars in Japan.

    Yes at full charge it's really hard to beat Vezel. I was driving yesterday and on ring road with just with light pedal I crossed 140 km/h and mujhay pata bhi nahi laga. It wasn't even sports mode.

    And 6 months back I posted a video on this thread I guess... a race between Mark X and Vezel. Till 120 km/h Vezel has ahead of Mark X and after that Mark X took over with just a slight edge. And everybody was shocked at the performance of Vezel.

    Exactly my point janab. If vezels battery depleted then only manual civic and other 1.8 can beat her but with battery charged not possible for them as it's hp and torque at full swing

    Yes markx 250G r way too heavy above 1510kg, i crossed vezel at 130km from civic manual and quartermile race finish at 140-142km....no doubt Vezel got best pickup till 100kph

    It is possible to beat Vezel, i guess ur was base model Vezel which is like 40 or 50kg lighter than type Z? My civic manual weigh myself is 1210kg...i guess Vezel losing the top end power due to more weights than civic manual btw civic oriel pt was around 1240kg

    Salik bhai but manual civic must be fast till 0 -100 then PT ... after 100 I guess they both will accelerate at same rate. And weight of PT and manual must be almost the same and same goes for all variants of Vezel. Rest I will test it with my civic PT to check how much fast Vezel is.

    Yes u r right, manual is quicker as we know u can launch at 4k rpm but i have raced civic pt even on roll-on manual civic was slightly ahead due to better shifting but vezel was quicker than manual civic from launch as well but after 100kph civic manual was catching. Also i told my brother to switched off traction control and press sport mode but hes not gud in shifting with paddle mode

    Actually its 215ps which is 212bhp, i had markx 250G before getting A3 1.8t....never check with vezel at tht time but did checked with friends civic manual from launch civic was only a car behind till 100kph

    Haha i have never raced with 250G but i have beaten my friends 300G markx .... his markx was 3-4 cars faster than my 250G markx

    Facts always speak louder than words. I would rest my case here after going through various sources over Web. Nowhere I could find civic 1.8L quarter mile time lesser than vezel which match my personal experience. Sharing a couple for reference

    So doc howz the new vezel RS?? Since you recently imported one, is it better than the regular z trim or same?

    Oh yes absolutely in my opinion. Suspension , bigger wheels , dampers everything just added to a whole new experience but mainly I think they've done something with gear ratios in RS too. The smoothness of shifting was such that I've never experienced before in z or other trims

    Someone in the 10th gen civic thread said something about the possible turbo hybrid in vezel later this year but i doubt that, whats your take on that??

    Turbo hybrid isn't possible. Simple turbo can come and that too will cost above 50 lakhs.
