Default Honda Vezel Power system error

    <<SOLVED see page 6>>
    Hi

I have Honda HRV / Vezel (Japenese assembled), while driving car suddenly stopped and showed multiple errors like

    Power System
    Inclining error
and gear indicator is blinking with all P,L,R,N and D blinking same time.

I tried removing battery terminal for 20 minutes and plug it back, but results are same.

One more thing i noticed that when I power off car, it powers off for few seconds and turn back to power on but still error persisit.

Can any one suggest whats wrong with it?

and vezel is not sold in dubai how are you going to get any parts from there? neither is Mirage, mira etc you cannot get brand new parts for them from dubai, if someone is imported parts for particular jdm cars only sold in japan then these are those cars imported in huge numbers as scrap and lying in the junkyard, and scrap parts and brand new OE parts cannot be compared. even for the cars that are available in dubai i have yet to see INH or anybody import anything out of the ordinar in dubai, for example i wanted a solenoid actuator O ring little piece of rubber for a mercedes, nobody including INH could import it form dubai, whereas shahanwaz imported it form the factory frrom germany because they are officially present here as repesentativs of mercedes unlike honda or toyota japan. the best you can order form dubai is bumpers or brake pads etc.

just to clear any misconception as i have first hand experience of importing parts.

I think the sun will never rise on the day that our Pakistani bhai actually think that spare parts are more than brake pads, plugs, filters and wiper blades.

And let me add some salt here - you mention O ring - for average car owner in Pk, it means it should be in the O ring assortment that you buy from red box that the spare parts shop has. Let me examplify an issue - the O ring for the dipstick guide on mercedes benz NAG1 is not a regular metric sized ring. its oversized quite a lot. Unless you have a local shop that sells O rings to the industrial sector, forget about finding it because using a cheap replacement there results in leaks after its been through the hellish temperatures of the ATF. As for Honda, they have good customer service but yes this has happened. No point denying it, replaceable parts are different but replacing a car is different. They don't do that.

It's upto you if you wish to believe it or not, I just shared an experience.

I take it you have not bought a car outside of Pakistan?

I have - and I go over it with a magnifying glass - if its making noises or has damage - reject.... I have done that in Pakistan too, Got it repaired/replaced, its not odd - and take my guarantee, the customers who bought these jdms new did that too as their build is just one rung above microwave/refrigerator level.

In Pakistan - corporate culture means "raj type rule" where anyone - especially a desi customer should be treated like slaves - you being the customer should make it clear that the brand that the franchise is representing does not like to play around and will very quickly put their books in the red.

    Hi

I went to INH and they said that they do not have correct computer to solve vezel problem. thereafter I did not had time to visit Honda Lahore.

However I did shown some videos to Honda Karachi and they says that car need to be in garage for diagnose. Probably next week I will contact Honda Lahore to get it repair.

Did anyone else encountered this problem?

Have you tried changing the 12v battery as low voltage can also cause sensors to trip.

Hope you get it fixed quickly In Sha Allah.
I'm curious to know how many Vezel owners have had issues. Had my eye on this car but now I'm not so sure. There also doesn't seem to be a readily available fix for its problems yet.

I was thinking about selling my 2003 Prado TZ G and buying brand new Vezel. I already had my doubts, but after reading this thread, it has put me in further confusion. Highly computerized cars are susceptible to faults, its not those faults that scare me, its inability to fix those faults because of no aftermarket service.
Thank you for posting this, its an eye-opener and I really feel sorry for your situation. I hope you are able to find a solution to this problem. Please do update us if and when you find a fix.

    Software issue!

"This is actually the third time it has done a recall for cars fitted with its dual clutch transmission, with the first two being in October and December 2013. Both are also related to defects in the software program. In the first recall, some users experienced a blinking of the transmission warning lamp, the display of the service notification indicator on the meter display, an inability to start driving when first gear does not engage and the ability to drive only with odd-numbered gears when second gear does not engage."
