Default One of the worst vehicles to drive

    Dear All,

This is just my review, please dont take it to your hearts.

We have purchased a 2016 model Vezel. Looks wise, no doubt she is a stunner, when she is on the road, we get a lot of stares because of its smooth curves, the LEd's and the overall look of the car.

Interior is by far very classy, I think it can easily be rated among the best in all one the cars that are being currently imported.

The drive, stiff suspension which doesnt do any good to the vehicle and I can easily say it is just pathetic to drive. The Toyota Aqua has a better drive then this car.

Value for money: Please dont buy it as there are dozens of other options available.

Gli is much better choice than the bumpy city.
    City AT has no immobilizer.

GLi is bigger, roomier, more comfortable, but less responsive, handling (specially at high speeds) is not good comparatively.
City Aspire has better responsive engine, comparatively better handling, leather seats, fog lights and alloy rims are there. comfort is comparatively very low.

Brother I have kept both the cars brand new.
Both were manual though. City iVTEC 1.3 MT and Corolla 1.3 MT Gli (11th Gen)

On motorway, I found the handling of Corolla very good, mainly because of its weight. It was raining heavily and I didn't feel uncomfortable at 140 kmph. City is very light weight car and it trembles when a big bus passes nearby. I was once going to Faisalabad on M3 and it started raining with wind, the car really sways.

City is more responsive on straight runs and at high RPMs. At low RPM, City has a dead zone. Due to this reason, or the DBW, you don't enjoy driving City on mountains. On the other hand 1.3 Gli MT does not have any issues on mountains. Last month I took my Gli to Kalabagh on A/C with 5 adults. No issues. So on straight run City will lead and on mountains it is Corolla for sure.

Fuel economy City is better if you keep the RPM low but the problem is, City doesn't have much power in low RPMs and when you drive it at high RPMs then you won't achieve that fuel economy.

Interior built quality is same for both the cars, same hard and cheap plastics. Paint quality City is better. Metal wise Corolla is far better. Open the trunk or bonnet of City and Corolla and you will feel the difference. Corolla's metal sheet is strong. City is very light.

For comfort, as you mentioned, Corolla all the way.

Resale of both the cars is equally good now.

    My 2 Cents,

Once driving a Toyota, Takes time getting on to a Honda. (weather locals or Imported)

Theirs a big difference in seating and specially the way they both drive.

    About Vezel indivisually.

I found the car to be very small. Its a repackaged Honda Fit probably. And is probably even smaller. The rear seating is also small. I mean we 3 friends could not sit in the back seat comfortably.
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

City even on higher RPM is far more fuel efficient comparatively.

    Hello,

This topic is related to Vezel so lets stick to that only and not to start a Gli/City war.

    Thank you

I won't comment on anything else. But if you say vezel is slow or lags please put it in sports. That button is there to provide you with instant boost.
Bring any stock Grande/civic/city 1.5/Accord cl7, and vezel will put it to shame on a 0-120 run, 100%guaranteed

Compared to a 9th gen civic it definitely feels roomier in the back of a vezel. I own both, don't know exact measurements but sitting in the rear seats of vezel feels much better than the civic.
It's more or less equally spacious as the 11th Gen corolla.

Respected brother, i don't know which model year you have. I have the 15'may manufactured with updated dampers and it's considerably more comfortable than the 9th gen.
And comparing to toyotas is not fair. As Honda's are known for their sports set up and precise handling, where as toyota's are numb in the handling but far superior in comfort. As their suspension is tuned for comfort

    Bhai its not like that.
    Its just my experience.
I have been a Honda fan boy up untill Reborn.Reborn se achi Civic shayad bani hee nahin yaar,am in search of one even now.
I feel Vezel is just way over priced and over hyped.

The only thing bad about vezel is the lag it gives when you press the accelerator and the poor AC.
    Rest its a 10/10 car.

    @kkool,

Trust me when I say its a problematic cross over as everything is in Japanese and we don't understand a word it shows on the meter.
Unfortunately for us,the automatic brake issue that has been reported often is there in our Vezel.
As for Aqua being better,do give Aqua a shot, ull understand what I mean.

    @quertypoiu,

Havent and most probably will never take it out on a long run, just absolutely unimpressed with the cross over.
Whilst driving in the City,I think its as bumpy and as hard to drive as the 9th gen Civic or the current model City.

I gave my new Grande to my brother and took his 1.6 Altis 2013,took it to Port Qasim today, runs and handles really well, suspension felt better to me then the Vezel.

The automatic brake issue, are you talking about ctba (city traffic brake assist). The screen shows a car and an arrow?
If so it's a safety function and not a problem
