Default One of the worst vehicles to drive

    Dear All,

This is just my review, please dont take it to your hearts.

We have purchased a 2016 model Vezel. Looks wise, no doubt she is a stunner, when she is on the road, we get a lot of stares because of its smooth curves, the LEd's and the overall look of the car.

Interior is by far very classy, I think it can easily be rated among the best in all one the cars that are being currently imported.

The drive, stiff suspension which doesnt do any good to the vehicle and I can easily say it is just pathetic to drive. The Toyota Aqua has a better drive then this car.

Value for money: Please dont buy it as there are dozens of other options available.

Unfortunately for us,the automatic brake issue that has been reported often is there in our Vezel.
As for Aqua being better,do give Aqua a shot, ull understand what I mean.

    @quertypoiu,

Havent and most probably will never take it out on a long run, just absolutely unimpressed with the cross over.
Whilst driving in the City,I think its as bumpy and as hard to drive as the 9th gen Civic or the current model City.

I gave my new Grande to my brother and took his 1.6 Altis 2013,took it to Port Qasim today, runs and handles really well, suspension felt better to me then the Vezel.
I have taken a detailed drive of aqua. For the price 1.7 million its a car that offers following

    1. No leg space in rear, you have to sit with a bend in your neck if you are 5ft10inch,
    2. Stupidly low ride height
    3. Rattling interior on usual punjab roads
    5. Noisy cabin, no proper insulation at firewall.
    6. Cheap fittings in engine bay, loose intake boxes, plastic sheets etc etc

The only thing good was the pickup, maybe because car is kept lighter in weight. Otherwise for the price tag, I would like to buy a prius instead.

Not to mention I have found out that Honda Fit is more zippy, 10/10 seating angles and room space, excellent ride height.

If I have to pick from these two, Honda Fit all the way !

    @kkoool,

You are right about a few aspects but totally wrong about others.

For starters, we have an Aqua and there is no such issue as a noisy cabin.

This is not an Xli or Gli that you would find cheap fittings.

Good luck finding a 2013 model Prius or even a 2011 model new shape for 1.7 in good condition and with low miles 👍

My friend thats a Anti Collusion system thats got activated. The car will automatically apply breaks to prevent accident if there is a object in a range aprox 15 feet and you still pushing the throttle. You can deactivate that system through cluster or by pressing a button on the right side of the stearing.

Guys keep in mind that vezel is a cross over and its not a sedan. You cant compare apple with banana. When you you are going for a vehicle with high ground clearance you are acctualy compromising comfort and stability. Unfortunalty we dont have any crossover thats we can do comparison. The closest you can go for is the fortuner and dont ask me how jerky the fortuner is...

Vezel is many many times better than aque, even many sports sedans. when you improve control on a high bed vehicle it does gets bumpy. I havent found vezel to be excessively bumpy though. It offers a great control and a precise road feedback

Exactly and the other thing i have seen people complaining about is power. Guys this car is desgined for best fuel economy and i am easily getting 18-20 km on this car. If you really want to explore its true power than take it out of eco mode and push the sports button and if you still need more power than drive it manually through triptronic.

    @ ZaRaja,

Thanks you for your help. I will try to deactivate it and get back to you on that.
Mine is giving me 14kms/litre but thats perhaps because we drive it rarely, purchased it on 5th of June and till date she has clocked 320 kms.

You welcome bro. Its the centre of the three buttons on the botton right side from looking through the driver seat, but you have to deactivate it every time you power up your car. I have this warning poped up only couple of times in last five months specially in city traffic. I will recommend you to not deactivate it and rather keep a good distance from the front vehicle. You will eventually get use to of it.
As far as milage is concerned, it calculates the average of a Trip distance whatever you have selected. In my case i reset The A trip every time i fillup the tank so it will give you a better estimate. You can do the same for trip B but i use trip B as a oil change reminder so i reset trip B after every oil change.

Please keep in mind that if you deactivate the system it will deactivate the auto braking system but the warning will still appears if the sensor detect something a collusion distance range.
Just for your info the sensors are located in a box behind the centre rear view mirror attached to the windscreen from inside.

    Default @ZARaja1

One of my friends helped me out on the Anti Collusion system.

Last night I turned the car on and again got the CTBA error. He asked me to clean the back side of the rear view mirror.
After I cleaned that, the error was gone

The button on the right side is for turning off the sound that alarms the pedestrians that an electric vehicle is coming as in ev mode theres no engine noise. The anti collision system called CTBA can only be turned off from cluster menu and when u turn it off there appears a warning sign "CTBA" in the cluster. Read more about CTBA in the following link. One important thing is that CTBA only works between 5-30km/hr

100 percent my opinion. It is smaller than a vitz. Practically it's for 2 people.

I currently own a Honda Vezel 2015, Toyota Prius2011 and a few others

Honda Vezel is by far alot of fun, sticks to the road like anything sports mode is just crazy alot of fun economy is quite good no speed breaker issues as the prius loving!

you got be crazy to compare it with that thing toyota calls aqua! old gen prius engine but saying that

Prius is alot of fun also very economical pretty fast and excellent family car the trunk is huge fits alot and perfect for motorway travel only fault the speed breakers and pot holes of Pakistan roads are its enemies!!

Honda Vezel in my experience is worth every dime its a crossover what it's meant to be!
