not alot bro but a little bit more .. and also the milege will affect because vitz is usually auto which is more consumption than manual cultus ... parts would also be more expensive for vitz ... but go for vitz it is worth it and way more reliable (Y)

    I had a Cultus 2004 previously and now I have a Vitz 2004 import of 2007.

In terms of Genuine parts cultus is more expensive.

For example: Genuine set of Disc Pads of Cultus are around Rs. 4,500 and I just got the Disc pads on my Vitz changed for Rs.2,800

As far as the running cost goes there is no way cultus can achive the millage of even an auto Vitz.

My cultus used to do around 9 Km/L where as Vitz is doing around 12.5 Km/L with AC switched on at all times.

There is no comaparison between the two cars. Vitz is far Superior to Cultus.

    affcourse vitz is expensive

no doubt..how much parts can be supplied ..they will always remain at higher side

in the cost of new cultus u can hardly get a good 04 or even less model

and it will again be a 5 year old car.....so be prepare for more working coming

Pls confirm u get it on local drive or long drive. I get millage 9km/L with AC, 11.5km/L without AC on Local drive & 15km/L without AC on long drive with Oil Zic A, PSO super petrol. My car has not CNG kit.

I had a 2007 CULTUS & then i got a 2005 VItz new shape. Mileage was almost same with Vitz a lil edge. Parts of Cultus are more expensive if you buy from Genuine Suzuki Dealers. If you buy a clean piece in either of the cars, maintence would be same

there is a HUGE diffrence in the price of repair parts. for example the bumper of a cultus is approx 4000 where as the bumper of a vitz is approx 21000. however the vitz is a far superior car and should NOT be compared to ANY local car.

overall running costs are about the same and as long as you get a good car you'll never have any major issues.

i'd suggest you ignore the cultus and any other local car when considering a vitz (or any other import) as they offer safety,.. something which is not remotely available in local cars, BUT you better find a good one or none of those safety features will actually work.

^i'm refering to original (japanese) bumpers, i never fit cheap replica parts. but your option to get used parts (from kabar market) is a great alternative. (Y)

    ^ Yup

but if they were Taiwan then there prety much for the taiwan cars, but if not then there Replicas for sure, but on the other hand thats exactly wats Suzuki people are doing, so i guess its prety gud for an average Pakistani when doing maths to buy a Vitz because of maintaince or not

Vitz is modern car and much better than Cultus.....But my experience with Cultus 2012 (Company fitted CNG) is very good,,,,It gives me about 17km/ Liter while driving in Pindi/ Islamabad and amazingly Rs. 2.75 to 3.0/ Km (on recent gas rates) on CNG with speed usually from 60-90km/hr with a/c. Last gas filled for Rs. 580 and got 195 Km mileage with a/c. I have used for almost 40,000 Kms and not a single spare part replaced except front wheel disks...always got maintenance i.e., Oil change/ filters change/ tuning from authorized suzuki dealers......A full maintenance schedule is due on 40,000 Kms but I have no noticeable problems with car.....

Regarding parts, Yes VITZ parts are expensive then Cultus. There is a 25-40% rate different in spares price. But Vitz parts are really long lasting.. As the rate is HIGH of VITZ parts the performance is also HIGH.. this question is like to compare a Luxury car with a small car.. Cultus can not reach up to Vitz quality. VITZ a realy great Japan build car and need very less visits to workshop, where as Cultus is a local made car with just a Japan brand Logo and we all know what its quality. 2ndly both are in 1000cc category (some Vitz are also 1300cc) but the performance of Vitz 101 time better then Cultus. Vitz road Grip, Engine performance, design, fuel consumption, interior and exterior build quality, AC every thing much much better and long lasting. Cultus EFI is better then old Carby one but it has old looks, dash board, exterior, road grip, AC and its over all performance, We can feel a luxury in VITZ
