    Default Help me please on my vitz

    Salam 2 all


    Hello guys I am having problem in my vitz since I bought about 3 months ago. I am getting Maximum Milage 9-9.5Km and pick like I am driving on CNG. I send my car twice on toyota Defence motors they said that my car is perfect. I even sprayed carborator cleaner, but that improved pick of my car. But after a while same thing happend. Where should I get my car checked ? Please help me out. Is there any problem in my fuel injection or fuel pump, fuel filter ?

    Same probLem with my toyota Belta...meE too Sent the Car to toyota Defence And they Said everything was Ok...
    Mayb U shud send it to another place For check up....

    bro id suggest you get it tuned...change the plugs


    iv had the same problem an year ago when i had this car....after changing plugs,air filter and got it computerised tuned(i guess thats what its called)....it went perfectly good

    Khan Motors is another option, it checks the car on computer but it charges are quite high. My friend has got a trick he did that on CNG his milage increased by 20Km.

    Which is the best airfilter ? I mean the company, the one which toyota uses is of the lowest quality it ends up within 1000-1500km.

    Guard Filters work fine. if ure concious malysians are avalble for like 300.

    Denso k-16r, Plugs are best for it ( havent changed for past 1 year)

    used Total Synthetic oil

    are u thru wid the Cat Convertor thing? ( i am)

    then is it ur own car?

    try geting it tuned from Amir At PSO kh-e-ittehad.

    have u ever tried a mixture of Hi-Octane 10 lters nd Super Full?

    What is that cat convertor thing ? And yes I do own the car. And thanks for the location. One thing more that those 4tips plugs increase the pick up ? Do they affect the fuel consumption.

    na in Vitz's case dunt try heavy plugs, heavy plugs need heavy wires, dunt even try to make life miserable, ghalti se agr wires short hogain due to heavy wires ull be in deep trouble.

    Go to the spare parts shop @ khan motors or if u noe the phase 2 area, to SSAT colege k sath shop hai go there get a guard air Filter, Denso k-16r Plugs, Go to Amir @ PSO tell him mjhe lag raha hai gari ka pick up thora ghut gaya hai. change these plugs nd filter nd c if tuning is required. Dunt act childish over there werna lyk anybody else he wud try to Rip u off. nd tell him u need power.

    he charges about 350.
    plugs tme 520 tak ke milenge air filter wud be like 250 to 350.

    if u need ur car to tell u shes fast. add a air intake (only filter) thats abut Rs.1000.

    btw wat tyres are u using nd how much air presure??

    if there "185/65/14". switch to 28PSI ul be happy. 30 nd 32 PSI wud make u feel the ride more handly but also make u feel it hard.

    Cat convertor k bare mei VItz owners club mei bht kch likha hua hai. its a blockage in the Cylincer to clean Carbondioxide. but due to lead in Pakistani fuel it gets choked.

    Secondly have u changed the ATF (automatic transmission fluid) of your car??

    Vitz requires three 3 cans if u jst refill oil those are 450 per can. type IV i guess. uske bare mei bhe kafi info hai Vitz owners Club per. nd il recomend u to go thru it ud be enlightened alot about ur Vitz.

    Thanks alot for your suggestion. I installed new plugs of Denso which you recommended and Guard air filter. I sprayed the carborator cleaner also. My mechanic increased the gap between the plugs and that improved alot. Yes I got my ATF changed when I bought the car. I am using 195/50/15 tyres at 26PSI. My car is now running thousand times better. I just need to have a computerized checkup, for timing thats all.

    Vitz does not has a Timing belt so forget it. it has a timing chain inside the head which is gud enuff for a lot of miles. dunt noe exactly how mch, so cant be adjusted.

    I need to adjust the timings of my transmission as my car changes gears rapidly and loses its pick.

    lolz @ heavy plugs


    well they have nothings much to do with coils and plug wires although they reduce load on these coils.


    let me explain


    Coils only help plugs to ignite thts it they dont carry back the current so how will they spoil the coils or plugs wires.Such stupid things are said by Stupid mechanics who only new how to fit these things which they have learnt from there Ustads and they are workingon there experiences now R&D or research work.


    Seconly Iridium and Platnium etc fires better spark in the cylenders since the fuel sprayed in the combustions chamber ignites better for xample 32 33% is iginiting with STOCK Copper tip plugs after installing These plugs beeter efficency is achieved hence 35 36% burning.


    As a result better mileage and beeter perfomance.


    Though if one use NOT OE recomended plugs which 90% ppl do while choosing these plugs then Misfiring etc occurs and they destroy the performance.

    ^@wasay, sorry @ heavy plugs, was in a rush to dats wat came into my mind.

    but u got my point.

    logicaly ur explanation works, but wat came in my mind was that wen we use Airconditioners, in our homes nd the current is not sufficient the electrical parts get blown up.

    mager do tell me wat plugs (codes, type nd compny) are u actually using as i wana noe. thanks

    I am using denso Iridium Spark Plugs Ik 16


    which are OE recomneded for 1SZFE you can verify that from denso webpage in application corner.


    Earlier i was using NGk IRIDIUMs with some oodd number but they were messing with fueling but know mashAllah the car is very smooth.


    Usualy JAp cars came equipped with Iridium Spark plugs Local assembler do not use them to save there cost thts it...
