Thread: Vitz 03 + CNG=Possible break failure???

    Default Vitz 03 + CNG=Possible break failure???

    Is it true??? My uncle's mechanic told him that vitz on cng has probability of break failure problem so is it true for all models as I am interested in getting 03 model with CNG also will removal of CNG can resolve this issue?

    yea the brakes get weak after somtime

    This happens in Vitz. Actually vitz is not easy to tune up with CNG. So the RPM become so low and as well all know that hydraulic brakes works while engine is running. So with weak RPM, you will experience hard brake padel
    Suggestions required

    yeah it happens if the rpm drops below certain level but it doesnt happen if the kit is tuned perfectly

    I still could not get it. Could anyone explain how the brakes come on with low RPM?

    yeah it happen some times, for short period of time ususlly in First Or 2ND Gear ,if CNG kit is not tuned correctly...i have experienced this in my 1999 vitz...

    Perfect tuning resolves this isssue. I've had it run on cng for 2 years and hardly faced this problem.. it was only when my car was completely out of tuning.

    u will get amazed but from the very first day i never got cng tuning again and its been more than 3 yrs now,my car is currently running on petrol.
    just the regular oils,plugs changed even before time
    but u need the good installer in this regard.
    i have bad experience with my 1999 vitz but on my 2003,its awesome!
