Default Urgent help needed: Vitz 2006

    Hey guys,

I just bought myself a vitz 2006 and got its delivery after registration yesterday. I approached 'Vitz Owners Club' on PW and sought their help on a simple query, a couple of days back but unfortunately i am yet to receive any response from vitz gurus out there. since that thread has reached some 270 pages, it turned out to be a real tidious activity to dig my required info from there. i skimmed thru some 25 odd pages but couldnt get any relevant info in there. i would appreciate if a true vitz owner could help me out on this. My simple query is:

I want to increase its ground clearence; wat is the best available way to go about it? i presume it to be switching over to bigger rims/tyres but wat exactly should be the parameters for it? my objective is to move to a rim/tyre size that enhances its look, raises its ground clearence reasonably without much affecting its road grip and economy.

seeking ur prompt inputs, i'll be obliged.

bro go for packings between ur shocks.tell the mechanic and he'l add packing and ur car would get its ride height increased,
adding on big tires and rims would slightly increase ur petrol consumption and making the steering a bit hard,so best thing is that if u really wana change the tires and rims then go for the recommended dimensions getting in real big ones would cause the above said problems

thanks cloud 100 for your input. but i guess these spacers are also gonna create problems sooner or later and as an immediate drawback, the road grip will be affected, isnt it??? and btw, can i get these installed from tyre shops? like the big shops selling tyres and rims, not the puncture walas at filling stations.

please dont install packing in your car it will destroy ur suspension and will ruin the look of ur jdm car. its basically for CNG cars
just go for 15 inch rims with yoko tires
