    Default vitz 99 starting issue

My vitz 99 (reconditioned 2007) was in a good shape when I decided to visit toyota Islamabad and get general tuning / servicing. After that I have problems with starting the car.

When I start the car it just doesn't start in the first attempt. It takes about 5 min and about 10 tries before it really starts up. I went again for re-checking and they said (hawa maar rahi thi gari) and they fixed that but the problem continues.

I am quite worried with that issue. Yesterday the car refused to start after pumping CNG. and I was embarrassingly trying to start with all the people honking. The car used to start on the first try before these toyota guys placed their hand on it.

can someone tell me what can be the issue? CNG tuning? pressure issues in the engine?

anyone knows some good mechanic for vitz in Islamabad?

    regards

it automatically starts on petrol and converts to CNG after starting. yes it is making trouble on both. any clues what can be the problem?

I am getting a feeling that these toyota guys just rip you off and the mechanics outside are better !! ??

They checked and said that the RPM of my car were set high initially. they lowered it as per Toyota standards when they performed maintenance. That is why the car was not starting after maintenance. They set it high again and claim that now it starts normally.

I am not a car expert, can someone tell me if the above make any sense?

They increased the RPM from 700 to 1200 and the car starts normally now. I am not sure of the side effects of increasing RPMs other than increased fuel consumption.
