    I have a vitz but on petrol, but a friend recently installed CNG on his 99 Vitz, and is quite happy with it. I have driven it with AC on and the difference with petrol is very minor, on top of it, he has no advancer or emualtor installed, just some relays to cut of the injectors, and it is working finem its been almost a month now. It cost himr around Rs 32,000.

    Regards
    Deloy

    @zakoota
    good to hear that your problem is solved. do tell me about results in future.

    @Akbar
    what rules are u talking about?

    @Deloy
    Your freind VItz which has no advancer or emulator is a disaster waiting to happen. Get them installed, it will save the electricals of the car.

    @kkoool...
    v @ the ANTI CNG gang dont mind if CERTAIN pple lyk u go on ignoring our posts... they r meant for the wise ones anyway, ones whu hav sum grey matter in their upper chambers...

    v only want to create n awareness among pple abt the disadvantages that the pesky CNG has on their cars... saving a few bucks on the running costs n ruining the cars engine aint nobodys cup ov tea, especially not ours...

    every member @ PW has as much ryt ov responding to any post whatsoever as u do... no matter if his/her response is lyk u put it babbling over CNG or anything else for that matter...

    try minding ur own business for a change, it wont hurt u...

    @kool,

    if you bothered to read my initial reply correctly, i have clearly mentioned that his car was backfiring, and that an expert could prolly help him rectify the problem. As far misguiding people is concerned, i feel i have not done that at all. what i mentioned were just the "fringe benefits" of CNG.

    its a 50kg cylinder n considering that nowaday the pressures are low....the average will only become better....n the fact that driving in a city is not about kms only....its about the stops as welll:p
