    Default Vitz CVT oil change

I have a toyota vitz 2006 it has around 57000 on the odo. I read on the forums that the cvt oil should be changed at around 40000. I want to know what oil should be used and from where in lahore can i get it changed and an estimate of the cost.

I had the car serviced about a month ago i asked the guy to check the plugs while doing that he tapped them since the pick of the car has decreased not much but i can feel it. Also i am thinking of having the plugs changed. Could u guys please tell me from where i can get the plugs and oil changed

shazadmansoor, in my personal opinion, there is no need to change CVT oil before 100,000 km, and same applies to iridium plugs. But if you still feel, go for toyota type ws transmission oil.
    wait for experts' opinion.

Honda CVT oil is for 1200\litre in local market. Always differentiate between CVT and Auto transmission oil.

Its toyota CVT-TC oil... 4 liters metal pack costs around 4200/-Rs.. Be sure to change the chamber joins as well... Fitting the chamber back with same joins/gasket would result is leakage.. My cousin had to spend 4200 again as the first time he didnt change the join/gasket..

Gentlemen please never ever buy parts/oils etc from toyota showrooms, they are ripping ppl apart. I had a bad experience today with them. They quoted rs 4850 for cvt tc oil for my vitz tranny, and wanted to apply silicon seal stating i wont find the seal anywhere in pakistan, plus rs 200 labour charges. Thanks god i didnt fall prey to their nefarious designs, i got the genuine cvt tc oil from mehran autos saddar rwp for rs 3850 and seal from a nearby shop for rs 400, plus rs 500 labour charges for full svc of my tranny...mehran autos is the best as far as availibility, genuineness and price of spare parts is concerned.
