Default AC problem in vitz 2006

My frnd has recently bought fresh import vitz,,he had problems in A.C so he told me to ask on pakwheels.

the problem is that when the car is in D or any running gear,if u take ur foot out from accelerator pedal for like 4-5sec,A.C start throwing simple air and when accelerator is pressed A.C starts working again.

Note:This doesnot happens when the car is in Parking or Neutral gear.

we went to a mechanic, according to him it is the generator problem and will have to take it out.but i thought to ask experts first.

you mean to say that when car is idling aircon works fine and when in drive it works only at high rpm - possible issues are of vaccum pipes wrongly configured. Generator aka alternator has no issue to it I believe you want to say aircon - compressor??

does rpm drop below 700 when in drive?

rpm doesnt drops,,when i checked car,the problem used to start when it is in any Running gear and accelerator is not pressed for even 2 sec. AC starts throwing simple air,,but as u press the accelerator even lightly ,again the AC starts working.

im not familiar about the term as i havent faced situations regarding AC.any suggestions?

I'm not sure but my common sense says that an ac would trip :-

-- when cooling is achieved or thermostat is faulty (not in this case)
-- Compressor is weak (it should trip more with higher acceleration, again not the case here)
    -- Voltage drop (probable reason)

Now for lower voltages it could be battery, generator, cutout or similar fubctioning item, windings of compressor (magnetic clutch type item) and a sparking ac on/off switch ( this is all i could think of so far)

And if all is well then it could be the computer thing i think it is called ecu but i'm not sure how it controls the ac or its tripping just a guess

Sir battery is new,,and im not sure that A.C would have any relation to ECU.

Check Either The Compressor Is Tripping Or Not................

It Can Possibly Low Refrigerant As System Low On Pressure Usually Drops Line Pressure Causing No Cooling.....! Check With It.

Cars With Electronic Climate Control(Later Model Vitz) Precisely Control's All The System ..................!!

It's highly likely that either the air conditioning gas is low or the compressor isn't working.
Low gas can be checked by any good car ac mechanic with gauges. If found to be low make sure he takes the old gas out completely and then refills the new gas. I had the same problem in my JDM and an ac mechanic overfilled the gas without removing the previous gas causing the compressor to go bust.
When the compressor is faulty the car gives a weird screeching sound and the ac gives warm air randomly. U need to accelerate the car a lot to get cool air. In that case the ac compressor needs to be replaced. It's easily available in bilal gunj thanks to smuggled JDM parts. Any trusted mechanic can get you that.
I'm no engineer and this is my personal experience. This is what a professional mechanic has told me and I may be wrong here.
Meanwhile, to beat the heat throw water on your radiator (NOT THE ENGINE) . It worked for me and made a drastic difference.
