Thumbs up Got 26.2 Km/Liter in Lahore on Toyota Yaris

    Dear Friends,

Recently I bought a Toyota Yaris T3 2006 UK Import, It is a manual transmission and 1.0 engine. I am very much satisfied with its fuel consumption as I am getting the average of 21 Km almost daily per liter. And one day I even got 26.2 Km Per Liter also. MashAllah And Believe me I checked it many times and I am amazed with its performance. I am loving it. It is worth of money..... Pakistani all cars are tin ka daba nothing else. Even Civic reborn is not giving that much things which my Toyota Yaris has.... Like 8 Air Bags!
I will soon upload the real pics of my car after getting it cleaned.

i own a yaris too and mileage indicator easily goes to 20 km/l in city on 5th gear.
Yea, yaris is indeed a best hatch in Pakistan.

Regarding power windows only at front are only in low trim models, which i think is clever thinking by Toyota UK because mostly rear seats are less used.
Digital rpm, adjustable beams, sunroof you don't get these things easily

you can even buy BMWs in UK with only front power windows. Some real geniuses imported the E36s back in the day and had "desi" made japanese motor cranks in the rear doors installed..

If your Yaris is giving u 26.2Km/L i wonder why Toyota have to make Prius as the most fuel eco car which is around 18 - 19 Km/L in city....Please reconsider your economy if it is some thing around 12 - 14 City & 16 - 18 on highways Max i'll believe it.

I think there is something wrong with your mileage calculation. Official figures for this model are 44.1 mpg by Toyota which equals 16 km per litre. The mileage shown on mileage meter are not exact.. The latest model of Yaris is more fuel efficient and gives 20 kmpl.

Dear a friend of mine has a new GLI 1.3. When it starts but not moving the meter reading shows 99.9KM/L....Can it be considered true...?

this fuel economy is not possible . prius hybrid gives this kind of mileage . if yaris was giving this mileage then no body will ever buy hybrids . something is wrong with the digital meter.it should be at the most 18 km/l with pakistani petrol. it might be showing 26km/l instead of 16km/l.

A manual 1.0 yaris can achieve it easily. Just don't drive it like Schumacher does his F1 track vehicle.
