Unhappy Problem with ECO function of 2006 Vitz U-Package -- Urgent HELP..!! :(

    Hi Guys

Im having a problem with the ECO function of my 2006 U-package vitz... and i really need a PW guru to help and guide me about it...

The problem is that the ECO light (green color) keeps on blinking in the front odometer panel.....
I removed the negative terminal of the battery to reset the ECU and then the ECO light was off once engine was started and it did the ECO function (i.e at traffic signal it turn-off engine once break paddle was pressed and started again once it was removed)
But the problem is that it did that only once and after that the ECO light in the dashboard has started blinking continuously again.... and it has stopped to do the ECO start stop function...

I dont know what to do... and simply have no clue why its happening...!!

Need some expert to help me in this... PW gurus needed here urgently please...

    Dream..... ~~Aston Martin~~

I resolve the issue of eco system very cheaply, it cost me PKR 300/- only. I adopted the same procedure as discussed by mak313 in his earlier post but instead of replacement of that part (Shown in below picture) I cleaned that part with petrol and refit it and it start working normally.

Here is the procedure in detail with pictures:

Before removing that part place a clean pot under it because you have to pour that CVT oil again in CVT gear box.

    Remove the stated part.

Remove that two screws only from it as shown in picture with help of flatted screw driver and small hammer, as good technician adopted the same procedure to open the tighten screw, after opening that screws asked the technician to make cut on the upper part of the screw with the help of iron cutting saw for easy refitting. If you found the 8 step star key then you don’t need to adopt the above procedure to opening it (Normally most technician has 9 step star key which doesn’t work on it).
As shown in the picture remove magnetic particles from the round shaped magnet with help of plug cleaning rotator or any other best procedure you can adopt.
After cleaning the magnet wash all the part of it with petrol thoroughly and make it dry before refitting it.
After refitting pour all the drained oil in the gear box again.
In the end before starting the engine remove earth (negative) wire from the battery terminal and replace it after a minute and start the engine, and after traveling one to two kilometer it will start working normally, if doesn’t (Eco light start blinking again continuously) remove the cable again from the battery and replace again, Insha Allah your eco system will start working normally.
If your problem doesn’t solve PM me I shall respond to you.
    Thank you,
