Default My new ride Vitz 2006, fresh import

    Asalam-o-Alikum warahmatullah,

I was planning to upgrate my Cultus Vxli 2008 for last three months. There was a big tie between Toyota vitz and Suzuki Swift. Both rides are awesome, but I had to pick one. So, in the end I picked Toyota Vitz. The main reason to pick it was the lack of auto transmission in Suzuki Swift.

Second tie was in between 1.3L and 1.0L versions. Though 1.0 is the best if one wants to save fuel and taxes but I required power too. So I opted for 1.3 version.

I will use this thread to keep you all updated about the ride inshAllah.

    MashaAllah.

A very nice ride. Allah bohat bohat mubarak karay. Aameen.

A nice thread and good step by step info. Keep it up buddy. Vitz is no doubt a nice car in its class of 1000cc in Pakistan. Keep a ligh foot on the pedal and enjoy the fuel economy as well.

    Asalam-o-Alikum brother

    JazakAllah for appreciation.

Civc Reborn 2006 and Vitz How can we compare these two totally different category rides? Both are totally different things sir, one is 1800CC, sedan. The other one (vitz) is hatchback with 1.3 or 1.0 engine.

Still if you want to compare then Civic Reborn has more class, style and shape. It will take more fuel per kilometer and will require more space to park. It's parts are more easily available and has more market circle.

But sir, compare kernay ka maza es lyaie nahi ata kah donon ki class totally different hay.

But! yes! you can enjoy all latest facilities in vitz in low price. I mean automatic transmission, front light adjustment, rear viper, Climate Control, push start, multiple consoles with a lot of after market accessories etc.

So if you want to save fuel and get more facilities in low cost, vitz is better but if you want more class, style and larger car (sedan) then go for Civic.

    best of luck

    @shoaib,

Hello, How is your Vitz running? At the moment I'm getting a mileage of about 11.3 km with AC on mine.

    Asalam-o-Alikum brother.

11.3. Uff. Kafi kum ho gayie mileage on AC na. How much it was without AC ? My ride is fine mashAllah. It gave me 14.4 Km/L in my latest refill but it is without AC. In Islamabad I have not started to use AC yet.

11.3 to sir bohat kum hay. Es say achi to City ki mileage hoti hay with AC. This is alarming for me as well because soon I will have to turn on AC on my ride too.

Hey brother, AC hay kayisa es ka ? I mean cooling and load on engine? Any difference you feel while acceleration with AC on?

    Thanks.

I have not checked without AC but last month was using on and off AC and it was about 10.50 km

This month with continuous AC as the climate is quite hot in Karachi, its about 11.3 km

Cooling is excellent with AC and you dont feel anything when accelerating with AC on. Same was with my 2004 Vitz.

Oh great!! That's a good news. Have you got your AC serviced? I used to get my Cultus AC serviced every year in March. I am thinking for this one too.

Not yet but I think after I service it, the AC will cool better.

I'm scared of servicing the AC becasue with my 2004 Vitz when I took for servicing he said compressor was weak and opened up whole dash to fix the compressor then had to replace it. I dont like the dash board being opened up

So far its cooling good. May just change the cabin filter.

Hmmm. me neither. I also hate to open the dash but sometimes it is for the betterment of ride.

Ahan good. These are used rides brother. I think we must get our ride's AC serviced. Pata nahi kia haal ho ander say I am preparing for AC service soon inshAllah, but not in this month. I am already out of my budget.

Yes. Filter to kum az kum change kerna hi paray ga. Ya us ko saaf ker kay wapis lagana ho ga. Pata nahi us ka kia haal ho ga es waqt. Havnt seen it till now.

Yes bro, Allhumdulilah I got the point. The bottom line is:

if you want to save fuel and taxes plus wanna get more facilities in low cost, vitz is better but if you want more class, style and larger car (sedan) with better market then go for Civic.

Best of luck for the decision.
