Default My new ride Vitz 2006, fresh import

    Asalam-o-Alikum warahmatullah,

I was planning to upgrate my Cultus Vxli 2008 for last three months. There was a big tie between Toyota vitz and Suzuki Swift. Both rides are awesome, but I had to pick one. So, in the end I picked Toyota Vitz. The main reason to pick it was the lack of auto transmission in Suzuki Swift.

Second tie was in between 1.3L and 1.0L versions. Though 1.0 is the best if one wants to save fuel and taxes but I required power too. So I opted for 1.3 version.

I will use this thread to keep you all updated about the ride inshAllah.

Yes you are right. For this we will have to do an effort. We will have to know exactly what difference of average both rims will make?

Theoretically, yes the mileage will be affected. but how much? It;s a tough question.

The rule is simple, if you want to save fuel, go for the 14 inch ones But no need to become afraid of suspension issue. Both rim sizes are being provided in stock by toyota.

    Best of luck,

hmm I have seen the 1.0 vitz consumption getting affected with 15 inch rims. but the this effect would be less on 1.3 vitz. I have seen few 1.3 vitz with 185/60 R 15 imported from japan. So, the toyota officially is giving 15 inch rims in these vitz, which means vitz can bear 15 inch load, but yes the consumption will be affected.

This is the image I have taken from official vitz 2006 japanease brochere:

My new ride Vitz 2006, fresh import - 385337

My new ride Vitz 2006, fresh import - 385338

Here three RIM styles are being offered by toyota with two tyre sizes in rides with 1.3 2SZ-FE, 1.3 2NZ-FE, and 1.5 engines. And they have 15 inch rim in it So, they are officially giving 185/60 R15 and 165/70 R14 rims in vitz. This means they will not harm the suspension.

    regards,
Like i said you have pics for each and everything.

    Best of luck,
You have got the answer, Shoaib Bhai is very right.
By the way the 15" rims and tires become very prominent, with no offence the ride becomes a little out of shape.
But many people like big tires, i personally don't like them.
2nd thing is that Shoaib Bhai's ride is giving a very good avg. he can go for the 15" ones.

Bohat bohat mashAllah Mortal bhai. Congratulations. They are looking very nice. Do update us with your latest mileage. I think your mileage will improve now because of better grip and light weight alloys.
