Default My new ride Vitz 2006, fresh import

    Asalam-o-Alikum warahmatullah,

I was planning to upgrate my Cultus Vxli 2008 for last three months. There was a big tie between Toyota vitz and Suzuki Swift. Both rides are awesome, but I had to pick one. So, in the end I picked Toyota Vitz. The main reason to pick it was the lack of auto transmission in Suzuki Swift.

Second tie was in between 1.3L and 1.0L versions. Though 1.0 is the best if one wants to save fuel and taxes but I required power too. So I opted for 1.3 version.

I will use this thread to keep you all updated about the ride inshAllah.

I got your point, shall check the export certificate date, i think it was Oct 2010.
    not sure....
it means my ride's mileage will be around 150,000kms,
    It sucks

    @Mortal

tyrone bhai is right. Have you seen the link I gave you? It is clearly written on it:

"The export certificate issued by Japanese government must have the last mileage record on the vehicle every 2 years . So , The actual mileage must be higher than that record all the time."

You can check the link again:

It's ok. You are not the only one it is all of us How can a 2007 end model pre-facelift (in my case my Vitz) have 28,000 km on it. Also I read somewhere that Auction Grade 4 vehicles have mileages around 100,000 - 150,000. But the good thing is that these are reliable Japanese cars even if the mileages are high as compared to local cars. A 100,000 km japanese driven car is equivalent to a zero meter locally assembled car due many reasons such as road conditions, japanese strict regulations etc. SO be at ease and enjoy your car

Just relax brother. Your vitz is 2007. Right?

If it has done 96000 Kms from 2007 to 2010 then how can it do 56000 Kms in one more year? Just relax

Most of the vitz here in Pakistan are almost on average 90000 Kms driven.

Still they are working like a charm Thanks to highly reliable and strong system of vehicle maintenance system in Japan. Plus JDM manufacturing is also one of the best in the world.

Forget about the mileage. Enjoy driving

    hahahhaha.

Swift is a nice ride. What it lacks is an autotransmission. Thats it. Else almost facilities are equal and money is equal too.

JazakAllah for liking EDIT: HATING :p the thread. Special thanks to tyron, murtaza_murti and Mortal bhai for keeping it alive.

Not to worry. On the yaris forums in North American and the US people have driven much more without any serious problems on the Vitz. Some as high as 300,000 miles (not kms) and even one guy clocked 450,000 miles as he is a courier driving long distances in a day, on his yaris. SO these cars are made for it and are reliable.

I have attached my ride's export certificate, there are a few dates on it, but on the bottom right side the mileage is 96,500 kms and the date is Oct 16, 2009.
Is this mean the mileage was 96,500 in oct 2009?
if yes then the mileage would be close to 200,000 kms , wow...
    Kindly comment..........

hmm According to this paper the car was registered in Japan for the first time in 2006. Yea. It did 96,500 in 2009 at the given day.

So how do you feel when you drive it? STRONG, RELIABLE, COMFORTABLE, RESPONSIVE, isn't it? So bro, just forget this piece of paper. ENJOY THE BEAUTY.
