Default My new ride Vitz 2006, fresh import

    Asalam-o-Alikum warahmatullah,

I was planning to upgrate my Cultus Vxli 2008 for last three months. There was a big tie between Toyota vitz and Suzuki Swift. Both rides are awesome, but I had to pick one. So, in the end I picked Toyota Vitz. The main reason to pick it was the lack of auto transmission in Suzuki Swift.

Second tie was in between 1.3L and 1.0L versions. Though 1.0 is the best if one wants to save fuel and taxes but I required power too. So I opted for 1.3 version.

I will use this thread to keep you all updated about the ride inshAllah.

    Walikum Asalam bro,

So nice to hear your ride is doing fine mashAllah. Yes JZ bhai is our core supplier of those colorful voltage stabilizers Lets hope it will be good for you inshALLah. Do update us regarding the result.

When my ride's last fuel bar starts to blink it usually has four liter petrol left in it. If that's the same in your ride then you have a mileage around 14.2 Km/L which is awesome with A/C Mine has never touched 13.5 Km/L. It's good for you mashAllah.

Are you using the same Michilen energy saver tires? How are they doing?

    regards,

Michelin Energy Saver r doing great
    No punctures up till now
Almost 20k km done with them
    3 trips to Sialkot + daily 60km

    These tyres are life savers
U remember 24 hr rainfall one month back?? Well i drove all night Sialkot to Sadiqabad 13hrs in pouring rain around 70-80 speed and car never felt like losing grip, braking was excellent in horrid conditions
    Alhamdulillah

I got K&N washable air filter which surprisingly has increased the mileage
    Throttle response is also good

Now JZ bhai is sending new plugs
Hopefully it will improve performance along with volt stabiliser

Wow great. This mean I must get these tires. I am short of budget. Really want these tires. These energy savers are almost 9000 Rs per tire now a days.

New plugs? Toyota Genuine or any other brand?

    Hi guys,

I just bought a vitz 2007 1.3 with the 2NZ engine. I need recommendations for the following:

    1. Engine oil
    2. Transmission oil
    3. Spark plugs
    4. Air filter (has anyone used a sports filter)
    5. Brake oil
    6. Tires - should i go for the 15' alloy or 14'?

    Thanks a lot!

    1) Engine oil: Use any good brand in market. usually hx7, Zic, LiquiMoli etc are used. I am using LiquiMoili.

    2) Transmission Oil: My info is that 1.3 2NZ has a non cvti transmission gear box. You can use Toyota genuine ATF. but if it has cvti gear box (I dnt think so) then go for Toyota Genuine CVT oil.

    3) Spark plugs: Use any good one. I will recommend toyota genuine though people are using other brands like desno. JZ bhai has recommended desno sk20hr11 to docjunaid bhai.

    4) I will recommend to use Toyota genuine air filter.

    5) Brake oil: Any good brand

    6) Tires. The OEM size are: 165/70 R14 and 185/60 R15. So 14' and 15' both will work. You can get any good brand like yokohoma, denlop etc. I like Michelin.

Check the Vitz fan page for more information.

You can also contact murtaza_murti bhai. He is taken as an authority on vitz nd belta on pakwheels

    best of luck.

Nice mashAllah. Eid Mubarik to you too.

White light LED might have looked better than blue ones. But its ur choice.

13.5 KM/L is a nice mileage with A/C. Is is same like previous one or improved?

What is ur ride's tire size?

    Tyre size is 195/65 R15

Average is almost 1.5km/L less (usually i get 14-15km/L) as i spent near 30 min car parked with ac on

Oh My God! It's a bit too big tire. But that would have given you a good height.

    195/65 R15 = 25.0" (Yours)
    185/60 R15 = 23.7" (Stock)
    175/60 R14 = 23.7" (Stock)

The official tire diameter of vitz can be between,

"With stock suspension, you may safely fit many tyres from 23.0 to 24.3, +/-3%."

I have taken this from following forum:
Official YARIS Wheel & Tire Guide - Toyota Yaris Forums - Ultimate Yaris Enthusiast Site

I have 175/60 R14 and ride crushes every speed breaker If your tire size is working fine (though not recommended by toyota people) u should have a good flyover the bumps.
