Default My new ride Vitz 2006, fresh import

    Asalam-o-Alikum warahmatullah,

I was planning to upgrate my Cultus Vxli 2008 for last three months. There was a big tie between Toyota vitz and Suzuki Swift. Both rides are awesome, but I had to pick one. So, in the end I picked Toyota Vitz. The main reason to pick it was the lack of auto transmission in Suzuki Swift.

Second tie was in between 1.3L and 1.0L versions. Though 1.0 is the best if one wants to save fuel and taxes but I required power too. So I opted for 1.3 version.

I will use this thread to keep you all updated about the ride inshAllah.

    Updates:

    6) HIDs

With normal acceleration (different for different people): 13.0 km/L
With extremely soft pedal: 17.0 Km/L (Easily reachable with in city)

    Some Very useful discussions

    1) How to read auction sheet and extract information like original odometer reading etc for JDM rides

    2) Which one is the best suitable tire size for Vitz? (Page 14, 15 and 16)

3A) CVT Oil Change procedure, requirements and necessity
3B) The Genuine components Toyota recommends to change at every gear oil change

4A) Some discussion on CAT removal (fears, theories, practices)
4B) How to remove first CAT
4C) How to remove second CAT

    5) How to change the cabin filter/Air condition filter?

    6) How to register an imported vehicle in Islamabad? (Summary of complete procedure)

    7) Toyota Vitz JDM Packages and details.

No idea bro. This was my first experience of denting and painting job. Probably the denter knew that The painter said that they take 5000 Rs. per piece for matching and paint. I sniffed its too much but still I complied as I had no idea. Anyways. The ride is back now

really? 10800 ki to screen hi a gayie thi. 2000 Rs. fitting kay maar lyiea us nay. painter nay probably bohat zyada lyiea. He said that he takes 5000 Rs for every piece.
Although denter bill seemed ok to me. Actually it was my first paint and dent job. Never had such thing before in any of my car. So probably that's why I might got looted.
Anyways. The ride is back Allhumdulilah

Soft pedal means simply not to accelerate quickly and do not cross 80 km/h. Accelerate as slowly as u can and u save lots and lots of fuel. Although its tough to do as its the game of nerves

AT is simple "Automatic Transmission" .... and CVT is a special form of automatic transmission which stands for "Continuous Variable Transmission" ... Actually they are two different gear shift architectures where one involves simple gear shift pullies (AT) and other uses cones to change gears (CVT). both use different type gear oils. Often people put AT oil in CVT gear boxes which sometimes proves fatal.

Please go back to the person you got the work done from and ask him. To redo it. The bonnet and bumper does not match the rest of the body. Also, the bonnet is outt of place. He overcharged you, yet did not do a good job. And the normal rate is 3k per piece.

You need to hit that painter nd denter again. The work which they have done is just pathetic. Look at the alignments of the bonnet, bumper and headlight. You have paid him a huge amount nd you have all the rights to ask him for satisfaction. This work is not atall upto satisfaction. Although he wont agree to do that but try to force him. Rather do take some gud heavy looking boys with you nd then talk.... Hope for the best
