Default My new ride Vitz 2006, fresh import

    Asalam-o-Alikum warahmatullah,

I was planning to upgrate my Cultus Vxli 2008 for last three months. There was a big tie between Toyota vitz and Suzuki Swift. Both rides are awesome, but I had to pick one. So, in the end I picked Toyota Vitz. The main reason to pick it was the lack of auto transmission in Suzuki Swift.

Second tie was in between 1.3L and 1.0L versions. Though 1.0 is the best if one wants to save fuel and taxes but I required power too. So I opted for 1.3 version.

I will use this thread to keep you all updated about the ride inshAllah.

    Masha Allah...very clean car.
got a question...exactly why did you change transmission oil when the car has done only <40k?
We must know that around us is Pakistan, in us Pakistan marches and behind us Pakistan follows...

    JazakAllah brother.

Well this is a refurbished car and is imported second hand. The odometer was in between 31000 to 32000. But the aution report says that the ride was auctioned at 71000 Kms. So, some body has tampered the meter in Karachi. That is why I changed the gear oil. First I put LiquiMoly AT in it. Then our pakwheeler experts suggested that its a wrong oil for CVT transsmission. So I shifted to Toyota CVT.

Walikum Asalam. This is a very good question :p Unfortunately I dont know. I have not tried to install extra speakers yet. Two front door ones feel enough for me. Lets hope some expert will help you.

    JazakAllah brother.

A big change sir. There are four changes which I have noticed within first drive.

    1) Very low noise. so sakoon hi sakoon inside cabin
    2) Very soft electronic power steering. A lot softer then the one in Cultus which was Hydraulic power steering.
    3) Excellent brakes. The ABS vs Cultus brakes big difference.
    4) Automatic transmission!! Full time ayashi

The negative thing which I have noted is, that, vitz is a car to be driven softly as it has CVT. You require patience, sakoon, coolness to be good to the ride. But cultus My hot favourtie ride if you want to go anywhere in this country No tension of touching speedbrakers, Jitna marzi bhagao, jitni marzi race do. Do what ever you want. Usay farak hi koi nahi parta tha

    cultus is a stubborn car
    Yes no doubt.

Cultus is a 1000Cc ride so, its petrol consumption can only be compared with 1000Cc vitz. The vitz I am driving at the moment is 1300Cc. So I cannot compare. My 1300Cc vitz is giving me 14.5 to 16 Km/L mileage depending on the traffic conditions. My 1000cc cultus use to give 13 to 14 Km/L. I have seen many pakwheelers saying that their cultus is giving them 15 to 17 Km/L. but mine had never gone more then 14. It usually remained around 13 Km/L.

I have heard from the owner of 1000Cc vitz that it gives around 17 Km/L. For me, that is a way good from cultus.

AoA. Welcome bro Was missing you. Well yes I have decided the tires. 185/60 R15, Michlen Energy saver. Now I am looking for a decent rim.

I have also got some funds raising issue too I hope that next salary will give me enough space for tires and rims as Michlen tire is a costlier tire (I think 9000 Rs. for one in Islamabad).

tyrone_40 bhai is absolutely right. You should use only Toyota CVT-TC oil. Here's the box:

My new ride Vitz 2006, fresh import - 370809

and it's fine to use Toyota genuine engine oil too.
    Best of luck

well, the first test failed because the technicians took petrol out of my fuel tank to clean botton plate while changing gear oil. I dont know how much have they taken. When I calculated the average while refilling it, it was only 12.5. It is a way too less then my first calculation which was very close to 16.

Now I have driven almost 60 kms with full tank. I will drive till 200 or 250 and will refill again and thn I will come to proper calculation. I will update the thread inshALLah.

Is there any specific reason that you have raised this question?

    regards.
