Default help: vitz 99 transmission filter

    assalam-o-alaikom

i want to change my vitz transmission filter ( auto transmission).. where it is fitted n from where would i get a new filter here in karachi for how much??

actually, there are no jerks in shifting of auto transmission but at the instant of shifting gear i feel car to be a bit heavy.. i don't know it is normal or not...

my car is 76k done, cng never installed

but another thing is also in my mind that car accelerator cable is a bit loose but very very less. does this loose cable contribute towards heaviness of car at the instant of shifting...

moreover, i changed atf 4000 km before but my mistake was that i didnt pour in toyota atf t-4, instead i used total atf.. can this also be responsible for heaviness of car at the time of shifting???

furthermore, car shifting is mashALLAH proper, no lagging in shifting and nothing else.. i de press gas pedal very slightly and even then car shifts on time.

when i de press pedal to the floor, then after rev.ing up, car shifts perfectly well, no heaviness is felt..

    expert opinion is awaited plz....

    that whether its issue of:
    1. atf filter
    2. loose accelerator cable (v. minor)
    3. or total atf

    regards

slight play in throttle cable is normal.if you have changed ATF at 4000 and there is no performance issue relax & drive in routine. at next 25000 km make sure you change ATF filter & ATF fluid respectively.

sir but wat about that heaviness in shifting... that heaviness is there only when pedal is subjected to light foot. with heavy foot, there is no heaviness issue... is this altogether normal???

check for tyre pressures & use a throttle body cleaner
