Its an EFI engine. what do you mean by carb?

its actually an alteration in Charade.

Car is hesitating to revive and idle problem on cold start and low rpm on normal.

I am checking one by one everything as mechanic in lahore are full paindu :p someone tried to put a card board on the intake throttle to resolve missing problem :p

That is why only way is to get everything myself checked.

is it compulsary component or any enhancement?

by carb i meant fuel feed be it injector feed or injector rail or a carb

if you can remove and snap a close-up picture then it will be more clear. Because the problem you are stating is related to MAP/ MAF sensors and this emission control valve have very less effect on cold start / idle speed.

    Hi.
Thanks and sure. I willl get the close snap on Monday.

    Another question is:

I tried to push throttle all of sudden at idle. It seems it was hesitant initially but suddenly took boost after 3500 RPM. I believe that is vvti?

I used taiwan fuel pump with existing lines of charade and there is no return line.

    Can you tell me:
    1. Standard fuel pressure for 1300cc car
    2. Fuel piping size, like what should be the diameter of main line and return pipe?
    3. Fuel pump regulator should be installed in hood or in fuel tank? I see one which can be install with fuel pump in tank.

I believe I am laking fuel pressure due to which the car is hesitant and does not giving me a boost. Although I have tested the car with 100KM/hr speed. still feel the engine can serve more.

Since Its For Emission Control...There's No Need To Hunt for it Too Much.....!!

    Its Connected All The Way....

You Should Have Around Maintained 35-38Psi In Order To Run your Car Smoothly....!!

adjustable Fuel pressure Regulator are for cars with return line....in your case....there's none...!

also check for any vacuum leaks and do check your Fuel pressure

    Thanks.

My car does not require return line????? Where will the excess fuel go? :p

I will check fuel pressure and vaccum leaks on Monday for sure.

Are you sure there will be no return line? Pump does not starts when we switch on the engine but rather when the self starts and it is connected to ECU not to ignition.

    Hi,
Thanks to SER_GTR for his guidance. swap is under his virtual supervision

The swap was neat. I dont like the way mechanic made the bracket for mount but in the end, I was the one with 103KG who was standing and jumping on the engine and I didnt hear any cracking noise.

I am having a problem. The problem is, I am using an in tank fuel pump bought new from shop. The fuel line I am using is existing old charade line which is I believe is narrow.

The car is missing on idle and when after sometime, it gets a bit steady but as soon as i push the throttle all the way, it starts woobling as there is no fuel to feed.

KEEP IN MIND THIS IS A RETURNLESS FUEL SYSTEM and my system is purely returnless I mean I even dont have regulator in tank lol, pump directly feeding injector rails.

I tried to WOT and when the engine starts woobling I put a spray of petrol and it goes like normal. Everytime I did this, seems problem resolve.

So I conclude with my limited knowledge that either it is a low or high pressure problem.

what should I change? fuel line, pump, or what? I see there is a regulator on injector rail as well. should I play with it?

    Still waiting for help guys

    1. I have no FPR neither in tank nor outside. I am unable to find aftermarket FPR in lahore please help what to do?
    2. IDLE has missing!!! I believe that is due to bad fuel system? (working fine on cng)
    3. bad fuel average.
    4. Radiator!!!! Do I need bigger radiator as car is heating at optimum temperature and fan is automatic. when driving more than 100 KM, fan starts continously and after 4-5 KM, I can see the needle starts moving up. I have Charade 84 double naali silver radiator but dont know its condition. Should I change? Which for I should go? I dont mind if I have to go with new.

    5. None of the mechanic I have met has pressure tester where to buy it so that bloody I can check myself?
    6. Bad EFI wiring? I asked CNG mechanic to install lendi renzo kit but he put tomasetto advancer and emulator saying that your MAP sensor white wire does not have any pulses get it check first. I double he is liar. Any help?

SER_GTR bro I am planning to get radiator, wiring and AC done and wants to get a thorough scan from your mechanic in karachi. Will that be okay?

the original fuel pump jug of vitz and corolla or any car with returnless fuel line actually has an FPR - its housed inside the pump jug, If you open up the jug and inspect there is a FPR looking device in it which just dribbles excess fuel.

    Thankz Zulfiqar,
But the inline FPR you are talking about cannot be adjusted

For example, if I get vitz one it might be the one comes in 1000cc hence low pressure and I will stuck again.

Also, the jug is very big for Charade tank alternation I believe? Correct me if I can put the jug inside itself or just get FPR from the jug and install it with welds and alteration along with fuel pump?

Currently, the fuel pump is attached with a proper "fuel pump only" assembly and it is just few mm above the base of the tank. I was not able to find any jug which can be fit in charade tank. The depth of the tank is 7Inch and the minimum jug I saw is about 9-11 inch.
