Default Engine Oil Grade for Vitz 2006 KPS 90 Engine

Can anyone confirm the Toyota recommeded oil grade for Vitz 2006 KPS-90 1000 cc engine(e.g 5W-40 or 10W-30 or 10W-40 etc)

Secondly can "fully-synthetic" oil be used on 50000 km old Vitz 2006 KPS-90 engine or should "semi-synthetic" or "mineral" oil be used in that much old engine. Please suggest

what type of oil are you using at the moment ???
I have seen one Owners' manual for Vitz (2nd generation) which recommended 5W-30.

I am using 10W-30 Havoline formula right now .Its good however its only API SL while latest oil grade is API SN(two grades superior than Havoline formula) .But as you said manual recommends 5W-30 for Vitz 2006.....That means I need to change!!!!

What is the best 5W-30 oil choice as neither Havoline nor Shell has this "5W" grade oil with 30 viscoity?

ZIC ,Mobil and rest are too risky because of:
1). Their fakes in the market(which 'might' be avoided by buying them from the authorized distributor and 'hoping' its the original one)
2). Original ones with ever degrading quality by distributors in Pakistan(which cannot be avoided)

In addition to the above-mentioned suggestions, Mobil-1 Super Synthetic 5W-30 also fulfills the criteria. In fact exceeds it by far.
Anyways whatever the brand is, 5W-30 being a thinner oil will give you peace of mind in cold starts in the winter mornings.

What if I use 0W-30 instead of 5W-30. Will it be ok for my engine or may create some problems as 0W-30 is a bit thinner than 5W-30 in winter?

If you live in a permafrost region such as Siberia or Canadian north where all year long temperature remains sub-zero, then its highly recommended that you go for 0W.
Else, go with the manufacturer recommendation (5W) for optimum economy and longevity of engine life. Using OW in Lahore might make your engine slightly noisy.
