    Question Vitz's consumption?

What should the petrol consumption of a 2002 manual Vitz be? The odometre has 125000 km reading but knowing the mentality of reversing, m sure it's much more. The car has NO problems whatsoever. I just want to know the mileage it ought to cover. No CNG installed.

Frankly speaking, the photo you see is of 2013 model, which has done 9600 on the odometer, which is actually true.
Since I have purchased it, from day 1, I am using unleaded HOBC with out any mixing.

    My suggestions are as under:

    1) Don't clean the throttle body unless until required, under extreme urgent requirements.
    2) Follow the maintenance schedule for yaris /vitz.
    3) Change engine oil ( synthetic preferred) at regular intervals.
    4) carry out tire rotation and 8000 km.
    5) Replace air filter (use Genuine part) instead of cleaning.
    6) Get all maintenance done at Toyota dealership.
    7) Do not carry out any modifications to the existing original auto systems. Keep the same tire size as they come when buying a new vitz.
    8) There is nothing as"TUNING". With EFI in place, this term has rotten now. Just carry out maintenance according to vitz / yaris schedule. This can be downloaded from the Internet.
    9) Pay less visits to mechanics as possible.
    Don't leave a highway for a byway....

Yeah , that's the one which could be used. Though from 2011 on wards we have KSP-130 earlier it was KSP-90.

Toyota vitz 1.0L should give at least 15-16km per litre on local and on highway you should get at least 22km/litre. When changing the plugs make sure u use the original plugs. Dont go for cheap and fake plugs. Mine is a 2003 model and the original plugs are denso with thin pin. I put NGK and i got 50km per 5litre and later 40km. I put my old plugs after cleaning them i got 82km per 5L and on highway 112km per 5L. but the problem is after 10litres it reduces milage so i have to clean them again. I will update after i put the original NGK which are just identical to Denso plugs but they cost USD$19.50 each here in Zimbabwe compared to the ordinary NGK which costs $5 each.
